Hey guys, I'm looking to start a 30 day challenge where we check in everyday for 30 days. Ultimate goal here is to shift your focus to you. This means eating healthy/ working out at least once a day , drinking more water, no PMO.

    What this entails?
    - We will start day 1 with weight check in
-Everyday you will check in describing what you did to train(this can be just simply going to gym, boxing class, playing sports, jogging)
Along with what you had for food including how many liters(approx) of water did you drink
-Day 30 check in with final weight

Great idea. I have ~20 lbs to lose before I am at my goal weight, so getting half the way there in 30 days would be a great achievement.

Initial weight check in (yesterday): 172 lbs - that's 12 stone 4 in U.K. terms.
Goal weight in 30 days: 162 lbs or 11 stone 8.

I am recovering from a cold so no workouts this weekend, just going to be mindful with my food intake, drink plenty of water, and refrain from snacking between meals and (especially) late at night.

being sick can help with weight loss lol(although not healthy). You lose your appetite.

Very true! Can really set you back on the fitness side of things though. It can be really demoralising to lose weeks of progress due to a few days in bed.

Yesterday - brought packed lunch in and counted my calories carefully in MFP, within my limits etc. Then someone brought cake in and I helped myself to a generous slice. Gonna have to start doing better than this.

A gentle morning yoga stretch helped to ease my way back into the world of the well :)

You can do it, there are going to be some days where you may feel sluggish and have a cheat meal or two. Thats fine. Just keep working out and drink plenty of water. I been drinking a lot of lemon water to keep me full lol

You are absolutely right. Weight loss should be a steady journey that's obtained by eliminating a small thing daily. It's about consistency and discipline . I wanted to start at 1 month just so that I have a sense of accomplishment. I won't be too down if I don't meet the 10 pounds but as long as I make a significant progress I would be happy

1 week check in 161.2. Trending in the right direction. Have lost 1.8lbs over the course of 1 week with moderate dieting. This week I am going to focus a bit more on dinner, thinking of doing a bit of intermittent fasting. My plan is to just drink milk at night before bed and skip dinner.

1 week weigh in - 174 lbs (+2lbs). Good news is, I am feeling better so I am going to get right back on it, plan meals and workouts for the remaining days/weeks and try and end up down a bit after the 30 days - maybe even as much as 10 lbs down! It's still possible after a shaky start...

You can do it. It's not impossible to lose 10lbps within a 3 weeks. I would highly recommend incorporating a very light diet at night. You got this!
