I've had enough - Ordered a Chastity Device

    I don't ever look at Porn just to sit and look at porn. I only look at porn so that I can masturbate and if i cant masturbate I have no reason to look at Porn.

  2. My addiction to femdom PMO/FMO is an expression of deeper emotional dysbalances.

    They have to be dealt with first otherwise we will always return to porn/fantasy to escape our feelings.

    I never really learned how to deal with negative emotions because my mother basically forbid that we express them.

    when you are really horny, you will most likely try to watch porn even doing nothing. In my 30 day streak that’s how it ended.
     
  5. This is something I've considered too - it helps to know others have too, makes me feel a bit less crazy.

    I saw one that was without metal, etc - maybe something like that would be an idea - same impact, less chance of injury, etc?

  6. This is a contentious idea. When I started NoFap, I had a fetish and therefore a chastity device.

    I found that merely threatening myself to use the device when I felt weak was sufficient to stop me from relapsing!
    There's a typical misunderstanding that the porn industry wants you to have: "I have to have porn to masturbate."

    That is so wrong! You don't have to have use porn to masturbate!

    Your highest priority is to stop watching porn. That's your big one. Make it an absolute commitment, even when you relapse by masturbating, to stay off porn! All the research gives this as your biggest priority.

    No more porn.

    See how that helps with your self-discipline.

    There are cons to long-term usage of a chastity device. Being unable to get fully erect isn't terribly healthy for your penis. Maybe you can take the approach that I used, which is to use the device (or threaten to use it) only when you feel that you are starting to weaken. Lock up the key in a timed device for three hours. When the three hours are up, if you still feel weak, add another hour to the lock. Repeat.

    Take the device off whenever you leave home. You won't (I hope) masturbate away from home.

    Another con is the danger of developing a chastity fetish. It can happen.

    The best way to succeed is through self-discipline, because it forces you to learn how to deal with the feelings, rather than to force yourself to not touch!

    However you proceed, good luck.

    You don't understand. I literally cannot fap unless I use porn. The only time I might possibly and rarely use my imagination to fap is after a decent streak relaspe and a powerful chaser effect kicks in. Otherwise if there is no porn than I dont masturbate. I don't want to masturbate either because orgasm causes a hormonal imbalance when you over indulge in it. This chastity device allows me to take out 2 birds with one stone.

    Possibly, but the device wont allow me to get fully erect. If I am stupid enough to watch porn than the pain and uncomfortability will put an end to that really quick. I will have no choice but to transmute that sexual energy into productive activities

    Fapping makes those feelings worse. If you abstain long enough and start practicing a productive lifestyle you'll get over those feelings on your streak.

  11. Your logic no longer makes sense . . . if you can't masturbate without porn, why do you need a chastity device? Just stop looking at porn!

    I suspect, however, that you're more like the rest of us . . . stop looking at porn for long enough and you'll find you have no problem masturbating without porn. (I relapsed 40 times in 2018 . . . and I'm sure at least 30 of those were without porn . . . trust me, you'll find a way!)

    I further suspect that, though you may not admit it, that you want to be punished for looking at porn and masturbating. You hate yourself for it. That was the root of my chastity fetish. And this is why you want to damage your dick and feel pain and discomfort when you look at porn.

    Well, welcome to NoFap. Look around. We all struggle with this and you're not a bad person for what you have done and there is nothing wrong with you. You have every reason to love yourself and the most loving thing that you can do for yourself is to honour your body and to heal your brain by staying off of porn.

    Dude, what? I cant stop looking at Porn, thats the problem. If I use the chastity device to prevent myself from masturbating than i have no reason to look at Porn because the only reason i look at porn is to masturbate. I dont have any kind of weird torture fetish, I just want to stop masturbating and watching porn.

  16. It's tough to get out of I am curt in this cycle myself , but the trigger was working night and going back to days, when your sleep is fucked So is your body and mind .
    And unless you get it under control your looking for ways to feel better . Food , porn, alcohol, in the long run it just fucks you up more, book a week off work , get some proper rest , eat good and focus on centering your mindset and avoiding the bad habits that keep your in a spiral of depletion , shame, and less self control . All these bad habits actually damage the frontal lobes which in turn impede your self control , so the more you do it the more you weaken your self control and the habit is formed and you feel like shit .the single most detrimental thing to your health and mental outlook is lack of sleep , lack of vitamin d , lack of sleep automatically puts you into a depressed like state and negatively effects your judgment , eventually you can become depressed without realising it , because of the accumulation of sleep deprivation. You need proper sleep by the sounds of it and your body and mind will thank you then catch a grasp on your habits it's just how we live, we live like slaves, do yourself a favour and take control
     
  17. You are right , the reason we are hooked to porn is because of a lack of healthy relationships, there is a deep inner turmoil which brings us back time and time again to porn because it is the only thing that releases the tension.

    But the question is if you where to abstain long enough would you begin to look at things differently, would this tension just get buried,

    When we keep watching porn we just keep reliving and resurfacing whatever the problem is . And porn just causes shame , we need to find a way to rise above it and develop a self awareness that is not dictated by needing to pmo

    Theirs no point if its not for procreation. Recreational orgasmic sex is no different than masturbating, its just a waste of energy and lowers your cognitive functions, if you over indulge in it at least, and I would consider anything more than once a month over indulging. Based off what ive learned from napoleon hill and other people that hold in their sexual energy.

    I probably do need proper sleep. Usually work from 7 or 8pm to 2-3am 4-5 days a week. Then I have to wake up at 8am to get ready for class every week day so I'm always tired as hell. Than with the vitamin D situation its been raining and cloudy almost this entire winter here in North Carolina so I didnt get much of that vitamin D
