    Hi guys,

just wanted to share personnal tips for blocking P.

I hate iPhone but there are the best devices to block P.

They have the watch time that you can configure and you multiple options :

1: you can just block adult content
2: you can block everything except the websites that you allow.
3: you can block websites that you specify.

The option 1 works very well comparing to certain blockers That I used in the past but even like that sometimes if you are looking actively you encounter P.

But with the Option 2 you are protected from everything. I feel safe using it alone in my room at night because I know that nothing can break tant protection.

but you will need someone to configure a password a friend, a family member or someone and you won’t be able to unblock the protection.

that was my tips for you guys I m still looking around for PC

I think that from now on I m going to buy only iPhone even if I hate to use them they offer the better protection small sacrifice for the benefits they offer

  3. In terms of PC I suggest Qustodio. I'm using it right now and it's working like a charm. But I did configure my computer in some way to make it impossible to bypass the protection. I configured my windows account to disable task manager, group policy editor, windows registry and system configuration. So that I cannot kill or disable the Qustodio program. And then I set up a new account with a strong passwords which i gave to my friend. And I passed the administrative authority to that new account. So that my current account won't be able to set up another new administrative account through which I could access system configuration to disable the program from startup. It's a lot of work and research is needed. But it really works.

I don' block porn. If you search for porn, then you're not really out of the cycle.

    I don't agree with you.

How i'm supposed to get out of the cycle if i'm looking for P ? You will respond to me by saying stop looking for P,
but it is an addiction not a rational thing.

If that would be that simple so why do we have all those drug addicts, the smokers, the alcoholics...

In the first stage of fighting the addiction it is too early to fully remain on will power. later on the reboot it is possible but the first 30 days are too hard for a lot of people including myself.

From my experience blocking P can help you recover faster because since you know it is blocked you can't go back picking at it. At the first stage of hardmode it is hard to fully control yourself it is why Nofap is a journey because it is not Day 10 that you have master the art of semen retention.

By the way if i'm on the Nofap forum it is pretty obivous that i'm not out of the cycle yet...

  10. I get what you mean: if one is still searching for porn, one is not truly committed to no-PMO. And those that are not truly committed cannot last long on this journey.

But using blockers does not mean that we are relying on blockers to stop us from gaining access to porn. Blockers are just safety measures that we use to keep us on track just in case our willpower fails to do so. After all, we are fighting against the evolutionarily ancient reward system, which is evolved to keep us doing things that give us pleasure for our survival. And I think utilising things like blockers that may help us along this fight is fully committing ourselves to no-PMO in a smart way. You can never be too safe right?

I'm just saying that blockers are only a superficial layer to stop the addiction. One must change internally to fight the devil, because the devil also lies within. However, everyone quits the addiction differently and maybe porn blockers works for you

I understand your point of view but the first few days in my opinion blockers could be really helpfull but sooner or later we will all be confronted and tempted and that's when we must make the ultimate choice

if you dont mind me asking, but how do you edit task manager, group policy editor and the windows registry so you can't disable it? I've been looking for a decent content blocker for months. I have looked into OpenDNS but I fear it would also block games I play, especially multiplayer.

I will say that functionally, I like Qustodio. However, as with any web-monitoring software, there are always serious privacy concerns. If that's not a concern for you, then I'd highly recommend it. Just be cognizant of the fact that the company could have quite a lot of data on you/your browsing habits.

  17. any iphone or andriod that has an internet browser will always show porn because

    1. New porn sites start up daily that are not registered by your porn blocker

    2. Fetish videos show no nudity yet are still porn so you will find that even on youtube

    3. What is classed as nudity is a joke.

All digital images of humans are porn or porn subs, that means no netflix no youtube no facebook intsgram snapchat etc.

There is no porn blocker that will keep you from porn and they will lead you to worse places trust me, from experience

    I don't agree with you.

I do not have google search on my iphone how could i watch P. could you explain it to me ? Since my webrowsers are blocked ?

I dont have Instagram,snapchat.......... i don't need it, they are dopamine stimuli which is not good.

From my experience having blockers at the start can help you.

like i said you dont let a drug addict with drugs in his house if you want him to win over that's not how it works.

In the first stage you can not trust yourself.

Addiction takes you to bad places, not blockers

Exactly what i'm talking about, iphones can really help us.

  20. That would be a broswer blocker then, not your typical pornblocker, if you have a working browser you will always find porn is what I mean.

From my personal experience I only got into fetish videos because that all that was aviavible on youtube, when I typed in "joi" wasnt planing on watching femdom videos but thats all that was on there, if I typed it into any porn site the result would not be fetish videos, so pornblockers lead me down a darker path, when you promte the use of porn blockers you leed them in a bad direction with good intension, at very least thats what happend with me, because when you serch for porn with active porn blockers they have a good chance of finding fetish videos because they dont need nuitdy. but you can still find real porn, unless its a browser blocker.

Theres also an app on andriod, made by google thats allows parent phone to restrict apps on the kids phone, "Family link" its called, but you could bypasse it by factory reset unless you set up googles equivalent to icloud lock then you will be covered.

You can give some that password to a friend also, as well as your family link password

    or

you can do it in a way that doesn't involve anyone else but you won't ever be able to turn it off
    .
-you type a string of random characters into notes like "asdfghjstrywtdu" then you copy and paste as a password and once again to confirm the password and then delete it from your notes, then you will not know your password, therefore, can not reset your phone or turn off the restrictions.
