I want to remove all triggers and the ability to find porn on the internet. Currently, I use SafeSurfer + Appblock on android and a program called Cold Turkey on windows. However, it's easy to turn off SafeSurfer if I get the urge to watch. Moreover, there seems to be an endless amount of porn pages and it's impossible to block them all with the other software. Is there anything else I can try? I really want to remove all possibilities of encountering any porn online.

Thanks, I think I needed to hear that. I was/am falling into the trap of completely blaming porn, when it's true that I can overcome most blockers due to the abundance access to porn. But do you have other suggestions for what I should do? I went 1-2 months without porn (without really thinking much about it) to re-watching it for the past 2 days. My triggers were sexual fantasies which remained even after quitting porn. I often fantasize about the company of a woman. I think it's mostly my loneliness and the need to be wanted/loved/accepted by another person and sharing their company.

  3. Family link for android works but your giving up alot, no yt no netflix no internet except cetain sites like nofap. Watever you like it completely customisable

You can turn off images and flash on your desktop web browser maybe even video

It will help, the constant reminder is good, and your pain is nessarary and good to show you your actions have consequences

Thanks man, I'm looking into Yoga and other stuff. But these sexual fantasies are bothering me a lot, disrupting my concentration and making me very hooked on a particular girl that I'm fantasizing about. Not sure how to deal with that. As you said, it's understandable that fantasies never disappear completely but it would be amazing if I learned to cope with it to make it less intrusive.

I use Norton Family. It works, but some images will be unfiltered through sites that don't fit the "mature content" genre. Sites like Pinterest, Instagram and even Google Images can easily bypass the filter, but having things like Safe Search and not intentionally looking for P will help you avoid those triggers. Also, check out OpenDNS. I have that to block the sites that Norton Family misses out on.

    My tips:

Try not to spend much time on the internet. Only use it for practical purposes like work, study and maybe chatting to friends during this crazy pandemic.
Don't intend to view P AT ALL when online. Best thing to do is take your mind of it with another thing like video games (preferably offline)
You won't beat this in one day. It takes weeks, months to beat it.
Seek accountability and find someone who can guide you such as a friend, a family member or a therapist.

I don’t have a computer, so I can’t speak to that. What I have is an iphone and an ipad, the only thing that works for me is screen time, with just certain websites allowed. This is the only setup that has really worked for me. I used to have an android and it did not have a similar feature, sure there’re a plethora of filtering apps available but none that work when they really ought unfortunately. This talk about intentionally limit your internet use, block images and etc in my experience does not work.
