    To help each other during the abstaining i would like to sum up all the reasons why watching porn is very damaging. I would like to suggest the first ones, you can just add reasons as well

    • Headache after watching
    • Feelings of emptiness
    • Damaging love-relations
    • Bad for self-esteem
    • A escape for running away from the real problem
    • Its wasting your day
    • It is letting you beholding the other as a sexobject.
    • Something else is the boss over you
    • It is misfiguring your body

    Why is porn bad for women over the world, and why only especially for women? Why is it bad for women and not for men? And why is it exploiting? One can choose out of free will to contribute the porn industry if one loves to, isnt? I dont think it is bad to THINK in such way about women, as long as women are not approached in a intimidated way, and before a women is approached in this way, someone has to choose to approach a women in this way.

    There are a lot of reports about coercion, things getting out of hand, abuse (like settling for some script and then on the scene adding not planned stuff), among other problems that lead to a bad work environment in main porn industry. I would call these practices exploitation, but definitely do a google search to see for yourself.

    With that said, there has been a rise in a more ethical porn market, also called feminist porn by some, which involves a better regulation, contracts, a safe work environment, and of course, users need to pay to view it, in order to fairly pay the performers, which doesn't always happen in most porns.

    I believe most victims of this will be the female performers since they are the main attention focus, as most consumers are straight men, but it's not to say that there are no male performers which are exploited as there may be, I don't know.

    We are free to contribute to the porn industry, but if we assert that it has unethical practices then we're doing an immoral thing towards the workers by consuming it.

    Finally, I do think we shouldn't think about women as objects, in the same way I don't think we should do it about men, or animals for that sense, but this can be debated.

    Well i understand where you talking about, had alot of harassment of guys online, the difference is womens are harassed at the street, or worser abused. I dissaprove this behaviour to continue but the police woudnt bother if anything physical has happend. And when the police cares the culprits are going free by a lack of proof. But you can't blame the porn industry for this. The men are thinking in such way about women, but have to choose to act. Porn can also be used to discover your sexuality and even couples can improve their sexual lifestyle by watching. So one needs to have the freedom to watch or contribute as long as the actors are consenting adults. And in each job one does one deserves to act the job under the right conditions indeed.

    I will add the aforementioned reason to the list: 100 reasons to cease with porn. If anyone has more reasons to cease with porn they can add it up by replying.

    Virtually all porn harms and puts in danger women, children, and men.

    Check out the thread, "Today I will not use porn because..." It is similar to this one. You finish the sentence any way you want. People have been adding reasons for a long time now.
