100 Days Without P or M - The Ultra Marathon (Started on May 15, 2020)

Discussion in 'Events & Challenges' started by Jefe Rojo, May 7, 2020.

  1. Nice work!

  2. I like this group pressure, it really helps me. Thanks!
Ill count days until I have 1 year behind and after that, I hope I have learned enought of discipline for rest of life, since that seems like only logical way to quit any addiction which may sooner or later arise. But im still young, so this Nofap has helped me to think that, one should never start any addictions like alcohol or video games(which haven't played for 2 weeks and didn't notice they were even gone).

  3. will follow as well then

I am 24(25 in November) and joined Nofap 1 year ago. I joined here because my life came to a sliding door. I was really into P, affected my life in every aspect. I had two choices: -next step and fulfill my weird fantasies that P gave me - Get out. Well I can say I am getting out. Had a pair of weak moments in which I let the monster control me but overall, I already made it to 127 and 165, hope to join at least 166 this time ;)
Wishing the best to all of you my friends :)

I consider my day to be over when I go to sleep, so there is no way I can rate day 1 before tomorrow. So far, there seems to be no major turbulence. My predictions for this challenge are that at first, it isn't going to be that difficult; then, as the days go by, it will become more and more difficult until, at some point, the habit is broken and the difficulty goes down again (the phase where one must not get too relaxed). Regardless, I wish everyone to succeed with this.

Check-in. Today I feel ready to take on everything.
Day 1 in progress, 99 more to go.

Thanks @Jefe Rojo for signing me up; and thanks to all of you for taking part in this journey for self development.

May you all have the strength to fulfill your own goals and surpass your expections,

    Max.

Hey! I may be one day late to the party, but my streak started yesterday on the 15th. Room for another?

Day 1 has been a success, and that is already something. I've noticed some people before me have shared their stories, so will do the same: I am 18 years old. I discovered masturbation on my own and over the course of my being a teenager, I began watching porn and eventually got into the weirder stuff (mostly femdom but other stuff also). For a while, I was doing it every day. In the meantime, the rise and fall of a gaming addiction happened. Somehow, I managed to abstain from M (snapped a few times but still) over a period of 9 months, but then got back into it (though, without the weird stuff). I feel that if I have this problem in my life, there is always the risk that I will start on the f-ed up stuff again. Besides, I believe M consumes my energy and creativity. So that's why I decided to stop, and this challenge seemed like a good place to start (stopping :D), given my past experience. My plan is to stop masturbation and porn forever, which is why I will probably be getting onto another challenge right after I finish this one.

  8. You need brainwash. If you are new here. You will use the will power strategy first and after few months and multiple failures you realize that will not work. I have been in same situation as you, but I brainwash myself with content of this forum for 1-2 hours everyday, keeps your determination up. And to defend this brainwash statement, I can say that porn uses the same tactic to keep people addict, so use this strategy against them and towards freedom of PMO, and good life will follow. Hope this helps.

Day 2. I have a pretty bad hangover. Watching porn to relief this feeling is tempting but I'm not going to relapse.

I dont want to get rid of drinking from time to time but well it is not good for a willpower.

  13. Day 1 behind us! Let's stay strong, just for today!

  14. Nice job! Keep going strong - that first huddle is coming up! :)

  15. I admire your aspirations! I’ve run a few regular marathons and 26.2 miles is enough for me! We’re glad you’re here.

  16. Way to take the higher road. Each better decision will lead us to our ultimate success.

  17. This sounds awesome
Can I join the challenge? I have not PMO since 15th May so well tracked to join I hope....
