I need HOCD help

Its normal, don't trouble yourself. Most of us have had these experiences so don't question it too much.

 

This an easy one. HOCD is a made-up thing. So, don't stress it. Porn CANNOT make you gay. Psychology Today quotes: "HOCD remains largely unrecognized in the larger therapeutic community". It's not real. You are straight. Porn is a lie. Live in the real world.

 

Correct he's not gay, it's a paraphilia. I feel like I'm replying to a robot now lol.

 

Oh, Lord. No robot here. More importantly, no HOCD either. It is not a condition. The condition is porn addiction which can take anyone to any number of places. Stop the porn, stop the problem.

Using HOCD is just a way of avoiding such a simple truth. Please read the NoFap Mission Statement again:

"We’re science-based..."

Science-based does not include a condition called HOCD that the therapeutic community largely rejects as even existing.

 

To be honest I don't know what you would call it but it is a paraphilia nontheless. And sort of unrelated but I do think it's very ironic that a forum that promotes cucking yourself for long periods is "science based" lol.
