Man, part of me is wondering if that relapse yesterday (that turned into a 4 hour binge) was kind of exactly what I needed. I felt really good yesterday. My anxiety was by no means gone but it was at it's lowest level that I can remember. As woo-woo as it sounds (ie. I dont buy into semen retention, but...), I could really feel myself becoming more assertive and full of energy. I know nine days isn't a massive streak for a lot of people but it's the furthest I've got in a while, and the contrast between yesterday and today is mind boggling. Today, I'm plagued by anxiety and worry and I feel more lethargic than a koala in a desert.

    Day 7.
Tired. A day to be careful with the phone's use.
As 'el Cholo Simeone' -Atlético de Madrid's coach- says: "Partido a partido", "match to match"! Remember this words, that's a good and useful tip. Yesterday was a match, today and tomorrow too. Every day is a match. But the entire competition (La Liga) is won with every match, play against Real Madrid (the first) or against Español (the last). How you won? Try hard in this game and don't worry about the next one, when it comes you'll try. Whe won this "competition" day a day, in every moment. So, today I won't relapsed.

St. Teresa of Jesus (of Avila) pray for us!

Day 4 down. Tackling day 5 today.

Its wild how easy it is to forget the wonderful feeling of being 3+ days clean when you're in the midst of temptation...I wish I could bottle this feeling up and chug it when I'm tempted to PMO! The fleeting satisfaction of PMO is no comparison to the feeling of a clean heart and renewed spirit!

I relapsed on day 23. The Nazgul were too strong. But this time I quickly returned to nofap and this is good.

  11. Day 2: Slowly starting to recover from this weekend's relapses. Brain fog and easy distractability are still issues though. I've also been trying to keep my phone out of reach. Less temptations that way.

Day 1 cruising to a close... Hopefully a successful docking and not a crash landing.

I'm over that misanthropic streak I had yesterday - for the most part. No denying I feel crummy still though, but I did this to myself. That said, I've been taking care of myself for the most part today and already feeling a little bit better. Good luck brothers.

    52 Days. I am now a dwarf!

Sorry for not checking in in a while. I'd been away from home with spotty internet access.

Day 22. I had another close call yesterday, but I decided to listen to music before I went any further. I got up at 6AM and I am alert and I had a good therapy appointment today, sharing my progress.
I also think about the Collin Raye song, “I Think About You” which is about how whenever he sees a women on the street, hurting, or being objectified, he thinks about his daughter. I like the song and it is an important reminder to me why I am getting clean. Porn has led me to objectifying women, and that is morally wrong to me. I also don’t like how I feel after I look at porn, and so I am using the determination derived from this challenge, my morals, and my desire to finally get clean for good.

    Best,

the best way to keep motivation high and running is to keep the good habits. many brothers believe they have to feel energized or happy to keep the motivation high. that´s not the way. it´s the good habits, it´s your daily reboot program that keeps the motivation high and pmo away.

if you wanna stay motivated take action bro, get occupied. if you´re waiting to feel better, you´re gonna wait forever.

most relapses happen because brothers slack their own system, they start failing this component or that component, believing "if i skip this, it´s no big deal, i feel fine anyway", and then they surprised themselfs being overrun by urges and unable to control them.

check your system bro, refine it if you must, but never slack any component of your system, because it´s your system, not willpower, that keeps sobriety going.
