Fourteen Steps Challenge

Discussion in 'Events & Challenges' started by The Great Safecracker, Dec 15, 2019.

  1. Stage 4 clear. Finished The Character of Physical Law. It wasn't difficult reading and it was very short but it still took me much longer than I expected. Maybe I was too bored or lazy? Either way, now I'm convinced I'm not ready to commit to something like FLP, at least not yet.

By the way, what happens after you complete step 14? Looks like you're close.

  3. 0/13. A psub relapse.

This takes away my power. I hate to admit, but there's still the secret desire to indulge in porn somewhere there. If it gets to come through, I don't know how to control it.

    It's a life-destroyer. I don't want to waste my life.

Now I need to remember what I've learned about the significance of completing the first few days.

I don't know. I've still got work to do to get this finished. I wanted a challenge that takes me forward with an accessible goal, and make sure it gets completed. It has taken me more than six months to get this far, much longer than I thought.

The goal is to complete the last two steps at one go. July starts tomorrow, and I've got a firm intention to make it hard mode clean. The last time I had a full calendar month without resets was November 2018. That's awful long ago.

Stay busy. Busy. That’s the best way to slowly get away from PMO. Don’t even think about P. P is an extreme, low life territory we’re not allowed to enter. You go there, you die.

One GOOD thing you’ve got: The ability to keep trying. This will take you forward in life. And it suits you, you’re a physicist!

So Hold on Brother. Stay busy, stay strong and please, stay home mostly.

Stay strong brother, even tho we relapse sometimes we are still improving and working on ourselves, you are doing much better than you used to do when po*n was a daily routine,I was thinking about how much this addiction fked up my life and I couldnt believe I still didnt get rid of it.Just noticed how much my personality and energy changed because of it and realized that we need to give everything we got to beat this addiction. Its not gonna be easy but we will all make it!

  6. If you add ten more steps the day total would be 300. That's a nice round number.

That's pretty good. For me it was February 2015.

I won't give up. You can count on that.

Let's keep the eventual transformation and improvement in our minds!

Let's change it then, shall we?

It's not easy to look back and see that several years have largely gone for nothing. This disease is one of the worst there are, in part because it's not admitted to exist in the first place.

Without doubt, you know what you should do when temptation calls. The question is really easy, just remind yourself of the truth as many times as needed.

Last night I celebrated in delight the coming recovery of mine. It's coming! Let's take the steps!

I like this idea. Like the 12 steps but taken a hell of a lot more literal :D

Relapsed this morning, so I suppose I'm still working on the first step.
