    I am married and I am an addict in recovery, 8 years clean. However during recovery I start masturbating with guys over Skype. It is like substituting M for substances.
    I want to quit and stop like I did with substances. I had 9 days without any amargamente however at this moment I am texting with a guy over Skype and I want to stop .
    Which Forum is best suited to get helped when this happens.

    This is a good section of the forum to get help on, but my advice would be to give much more context than you are currently giving at the moment.

    Context can include:

    1) Are you gay, bi or straight?

    2) Do you still enjoy sex with your wife?

    3) Do you use porn a lot?

    4) Do you find the man you are texting attractive, or is it more the taboo element of the interaction?

    Give more context, and I'm sure there will be people who can lend some helpful insights :)

    Hi, those are valid questions that I have never thought about it. When I read them made a lot of sense. Question tow and three ar the easiest, I do enjoy sex with her but we are very distant, we are separated, and I enjoy sex with girls more than man. I do not go after girls over the internet because gay chat rooms are more available. I do not use porno a lot.
    I have some men very attractive however that appeals is lost when I engage with them.

    Hi I thought about that after I posted and I said to myself I should have written the content in another way, however that was not my intention. I want to quit this type of engagement.
    Also English is my second language and it is har to write. I am from Nicaragua.

    Before I reply, I just want to let you know that I am not an expert, and what I am about to say is based upon my interpretation of what you have just told me :).

    Three things which you said really stand out, and they are:

    1) You don't use porn a lot

    2) You find some men 'very attractive'

    3) You enjoy sex with girls more than men (have you ever had sex with a man?)

    Based upon this information, you 'may' be bisexual dude, and there is nothing wrong with that. The reason I say you may be bisexual is because you do find some men attractive. There are some straight guys who enjoy having sex with men, but they are not bisexual as they are not attracted to men, but more to the taboo element of the sex. But because you also enjoy sex with women (and you said more than men), then it would make sense that you were bisexual. A gay man wouldn't enjoy sex with a woman, so I honestly don't think you are gay :). You may not even be bisexual if it is the taboo nature of gay chatrooms which turns you on.

    This brings me to this question - what is the reason for you being upset? Is it because you are scared of the social response of your activities, or is it because you don't feel like this is part of who you are?

    In AA we have a saying that the program is not for the person who needs it but it is for the person who wants to recover . If he/she does not want stop drinking, don't waste trying to persuade him/her.

    Je pense que le test des 90 jours est très bien. Tu dois le faire et le réussir, pour commencer. Ensuite, tu devras prendre confiance en toi ! Et parle avec les autres fapstronautes le plus souvent possible, car ce sont les plus à-même de te comprendre et seront donc là pour toi (comme une famille ;-) Oui oui)
