Could a gay man who had no internet access but, found mountains of old magazines, DVDs and other straight porn material in a corner of his father's garage end up with "heterosexual tendencies"?

It is not possible for porn to change a person's sexuality.

For sure. Porn is a lie. Everything in porn is a lie. The vast majority of people in the real world do not look like the people in porn. Real men and women do not act like they do in porn. Getting a pizza delivered doesn't lead to sex and most people never have a next-door neighbor who looks like the women in porn.

You have two choices :
1- Accept your sexuality.
2- You are right, everything could be changed. But changing your orientation does take years of diligent efforts.
I have not tried it as i am only attracted to women, but after researching the brains elasticity i came to believe that everything could be changed.
On changing: never fight an idea or an orientation. The better option is to introduce a better idea and affirm it over and over , and the old idea will fade away.

 

If you had a natural attraction to men ever since you can remember than you might be gay. But if you started like everyone else with Hocd, had an extremely exclusive attraction girls, never even blinked or acknowledged another man, and found yourself unknowingly escalating into extreme levels of porn because of desensitisation than you are easily straight and just have a porn problem.

A lot of people freak out and think they are gay because they occupy their minds with constant reassurance and flashbacks of extreme thoughts every day that they let their anxiety irrationally convince them they are something that they clearly aren’t. The gay thoughts are so persistent despite contradicting literally every aspect of their life. Ask yourself if these thoughts are natural and make you happy or if they are extreme and give you a meth-like hit of dopamine because everything else natural to you is so desensitised. Are they real thoughts or addiction rationalisations?
