(I think that) NoFap is bollocks

I dunno my G but I’ve been doing Nofap for 3 years now and I thought it was a bollocks too but in my opinion, it depends on the person.

If one believes it is working then it is. If not, then it’s bollocks. I just relapsed last night and I feel horrible, guilty, shame, regret, and my confidence dropped significantly as well as my aggressiveness. Like, for real I’m not even exaggerating.

This is just my own experience though. I once thought enough is enough, Nofap isn’t legit and goes on fapping for a week then I felt so down. Not just physically but mentally too.

If you still fine after fapping and watching porn then good for you. But one should try Nofap for 90 days (which I haven’t achieved due to how difficult it is till this day) and compare themselves before and after abstaining from PMO.

But hey, just my opinion tho. Stay safe.

  3. One question, why are you here? You tell people to "convince" you otherwise then claim you have an open mind to evidence, yet you shoot down every bloody thing that's said.

Nobody needs to convince you of anything, if you're blind enough to not realise how damaging porn is that's on you. There are plenty of studies including MRI's that show how bad it is for you (including neuroplasticity changes due to rewiring), but since the majority of people do it that must be okay right? You say you're not daft and don't believe everything you see/read, yet you're unwilling to consider the negative effects it has on people? Okay...

No matter what you think, porn addiction is huge problem and I'm pretty sure this forum is proof of that. NoFap works differently with each person (especially in their approach to what they want out of it) but the underlying goal is always the same, staying away from porn.

  4. This forum is a biased population and you know it.
    Why 90?
Why not, say, 89? Or 91?
You are so bent on that 90 as if the God himself told you that this is the number of days after which you will "be cured".
It's almost like a meme number.

  5. Nopes. That road never led to recovery.

  7. "Bias" has nothing to do with it, we're here because we're addicted to porn no? I'll ask again, why exactly are you here? You come on to a recovery forum to whinge about how everyone and their views here are supposedly wrong, yet that's like going over to an AA meeting and doing the exact same thing... there's a reason why we're here in the first place.

  8. Yeah, it reminds me of that joke...

A guy is driving and his wife calls him... She says "Hun, some wacko is driving on the wrong side of the road, you better take care." And the hubby replies... "JUST ONE! Damn no! The whole world is driving on the wrong side today."

    Comedy that writes itself.

Cant believe this thread is still going!

At this point, I'm finding it really hard to tell if OP is trolling or not. If he is, then its some of the most high effort trolling I have ever seen in my entire life, to such a point I have to question whose time he is actually wasting, his, or ours. If he isnt, then I dont know what to say that hasnt already been said. OP seems to disagree with everything anyone says to him, and obviously wont change his mind after all this time, so why bother?

Lmao I’m not implying that 90 days is the exact number of days that a person will be healed abstaining from PMO like it’s the golden rule. What I mean is 90 days is the most common mark to see if there’s any results.

By the way, what’s your point in posting this thread on this forum? Kinda feels like you just want to trigger the people here stating that what they’re doing is pointless and they’re an idiot doing it. Maybe you just want some attention? (Which you got lol)
