    Hey "Bruh" @Envoy-ofthe-End ,

Both I and my girlfriend can reaffirm that I am very straight.

What I "just spilled" is based on the New Testament Gospels and is not crap.

You @Envoy-ofthe-End , are one of those "Christians" who never bother to learn the history of their own religion. Try some real human compassion instead of bigoted homophobic rant you spew.

I am not gay. Members of my family that I love and cherish are gay and I will never stop defending them.

NoFap is a SECULAR program. Read the mission statement.

    Hey @recoome ,

I too have been through years of therapy.

"Get over it" is never the answer. "Work" is the answer. Just being in therapy without leaving with a work assignment never worked for mel

Ahh another brainwashed soul... the movement of the Marxist left, if I dont agree with your "inclusive " and "compassion" ideology I'm every -ism under the sun.

Guess what? Keep following the wide road, you know where it leads. Good day.

Maybe 100 years from now no one will remotely care about one's sexuality.

The one you need to worry about having a "compassion" and "inclusive" ideology is yourself. Because that was the message of Jesus. Compassion as in Grace from God is freely given. Inclusive as in anyone who believes can be saved by Christ.

If you don't believe in compassion and inclusive ideology, you are reading the wrong book when it comes to Jesus.

As for the first record of communism being practiced. Turn to Acts 2:42-47

Of course, the NIV is a better translation. But, it reads the same in the KJV or even in the original Greek.

If you had told me 20 years ago that same-sex and non-same-sex marriage would be equal everywhere in North America and Most of Europe, I would never have believed it.

Let's hope for less than 100 years and be willing to fight like it will take 1000 years.

Remember, my grandmother was born before women had the vote in the United States and my Great Grandmother was born right after the end of slavery in the US and knew people who were former slaves. And that all happened after the Dread Scott decision by the US Supreme Court that a black man was not a human.

Things do change. Sometimes one step back and two steps forward. Those steps back hurt like hell but, they make the two steps forward mean even more.

Do yourself a favor, when you first sit down in therapy, tell your therapist you want a task to complete before the next session. Not just writing in a journal but, action.

I'll give you an example. My niece is gay. She wasn't happy that my mother (her grandmother) sent birthday cards to all her grandchildren and their spouses. But, my mother never sent a birthday card to my niece's long time partner. My niece asked my mom (her grandmother) why? My Mom didn't really have a reason. It wasn't that my mother didn't accept my niece's partner. They would visit, stay for the weekend, eat meals together. My mom just never thought about it. The next year there was a card in the mail.

That kind of work is hard. Very hard because it makes you vulnerable.

I don't know if that example would work in your world. But, something like that. For me, there were lots of steps in therapy for various PTSD issues. But, I learned that I wanted to have a work assignment.

One assignment I had (it was work) was to tell my friends I would come to their children's birthday parties but, I would stay inside when the pinata was broken. I felt like a told baby having to tell them that watching that pinata get smashed, the noise of the kids screaming, and then the chaos of the kids running for the candy was too much of a PTSD trigger. Every last one of my friends understood. Some offered to not have a pinata. I told them I would be fine staying inside and I was.

    YMMV and HTH,

The two verses you quoted do not say Paul was gay. For his own explanation of the point he is making in 1 Corinthians 7, read verses 32-35.

Oh, don't go bible quote -vs- bible quote on me. I'll win that tug of war every time.

Your point, Jesus was coming back at any time. Now. Immediately. Not Soon just forthwith. So presently, there was no reason to marry and devote yourself to your family and wife. Instead, you should devote yourself to the lord.

However (this is where I always win the Bible contest - when I say "However"),

Paul was a grown man long before he created Pauline Christianity by removing the need to be like Jesus - you know circumcised, eat only kosher food and not wear the less expensive wool/cotton blend of clothes.

When selling Jesus to the Romans and Greeks, Paul found that the need to cut off parts of your penis, change the way you cooked food, change the food you eat, change your clothes to the more expensive all wool was impossible to sell. In Acts (see, I know the bible), Paul (who wrote Acts), is accused of betraying Jesus by not demanding conversion to Judaism. Paul openly admits that he can't sell Jesus to Romans and Greeks if they have to convert first. Magically (remember, Paul wrote Acts), the 12 agree with Paul.

Then, in Galatians 5:2-6 Paul tosses Jesus out the window. More importantly, he tosses everything Jesus stood for and believed out the window. He tosses the Five Books of Moses and the Minor Prophets (the Old Testament) out the window.

Given Galatians in its entirety, the first thing any modern-day Christian should do at church is to take the Bible out the pocket in the back of the pew in front, rip off the Old Testament and toss it in the garbage. Then tell the Pastor or Priest that if his sermon is from the Old Testament, he's wasting the church's time.

More importantly, Paul was unmarried long before he wrote Galatians or any letters. His letter telling men to remain unmarried was a coverup for why Paul wasn't married. Paul (Saul of Tarsus) was gay.

I would not think this hard of myself i were in you. There's nothing reprehensible in being homosexual and having homosexual activities so you don't need to judge yourself for what you've done.

If you want to quit that chapter of your life i'm pretty confident you can, starting by quitting gay porn and with some solid willpower.

I told you I always win any Bible -vs- Bible debate.

I am not a member of any religion. Mostly because I didn't just pick up the religion my forefathers, place my hand on it, and swear allegiance.

Then, after that, I read the book and having given it my full-throated support without reading it, I was then required to defend it. You know defend that god murdered every human on earth save Noah and his family in a worldwide flood. A need to defend that God made a little wager with Satan and killed Job's family, ruined his life and left him with boils all over his body and all on a bet with the devil. Having to justify the abortion that God deems just in Numbers (it's actually in the Book of Numbers TWICE REPEATED lest you miss it) as being just a misunderstanding. There are dozens of more acts that most Pauline Christians can't justify including Abraham being ordered by God to murder his son and then God told him at the last minute to just slice off his son's foreskin.

Did you even read this book before you started to call it "Holy Scriptures"? Or did you, as most Pauline Christians had done, swear it was all true and then read it?

NoFap is secular and Science Based.

The OP was shamed by a comment that said he was feeling guilty because he was acting immorally. I simply commented that such a claim did not fit within the NoFap Mission statement. Then, I was attacked on the basis of Pauline Christian beliefs.

So, actually, @phwrancesco , I was asked to explain my comments and did so.

I'd also like to point out that the OP has liked every one of my posts.

So, maybe the OP appreciated my opinion and I put it right where it belongs? Or should I just let Pauline Christians assault a member with made up morality?

I just think I'd have been less bullied if I were the stereotypical jock.
There was a time when I was a bully n now the guy I bullied seems super successful in his life. Wish i had made better life decisions n not been a jerk in my graduation college.

You speak a great truth. The question is, what do you do next?

The past is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift and that is why we call it the present.

Now you're on the abuse cycle mate.
I don't know if you know that most abusers have been abused themselves.

Perhaps, it is one of the main reason how I had forgiven that person who had abused me. (Though, I had promised myself to completely distance myself from him). How I had looked at it now as an adult; not blaming him, myself or anyone for what had happened.

Whatever happened in the past was not entirely our choices.

He was definitely abused too. Sexually, emotionally or physically, I am not totally sure but it doesn't matter. All I just need to know was that we're on the same boat.

I just promised to myself to stop this cycle.

    Hope this helps.

I'm sure you do, you're just not in the right perspective at this moment.

Nofap will definitely help you if you're having depression from overmasturbation regardless of genre.

Also, just like to say that the abuse that happened made me have weird fetishes and nofap is like a reset of those fetishes which I on my right mind, don't necessarily like, i.e., BDSM.
