    yes this caused me to edge and i have been decreasing it a lot, but after long streaks of 7+ days i always end up again edging, but in 2-3-4 days not always edging

    it gives a too long dopamine rush and i know it, but thats what makes me continue it, but now i decreased edging, it was my main concern

    but now it usually happens after relapsing at a long streak of 7+ days because my brain wants to see the new videos of certain porn series that i get hooked on

    i know ur sarcastic but yeah i do realize it but while doing it u dont feel anything, it happens after it

    now with nofap i have only had aches pains for 3 or 4 days maybe 5, in a whole month. Very good, this gave me motivation to continue nofap as it is effective in my case

    i realize nofap will not cure the varicoceles or spermatoceles but it will solve the pains that come with it, or at least drastically improve it, in my case. So i suggest anyone to do it if they have pains

    but to get rid of varicoceles, or if u have fertility issues from varicoceles u must get surgery, i am not sure if i will get surgery, its too early to start a family now anyways for me so its not my main concern, just the pains, which nofap is solving

    true if i fix my porn issue = no more masturbation

    i have seen other nofap users say that masturbation returns them to porn and they cant watch porn without masturbation, meanwhile for me it has always been the opposite, i could watch porn for hours without masturbation, or do masturbation edging while watching porn

    right now i am on day 3 immediately after the relapse of my day 10 streak

    I think it's best to avoid all P-subs, ogling and fantasising as much as possible also. Kind of a "no arousal" method.

    yeah so basically i am fucked because it says it is better to do masturbation every few days without porn than do masturbation with porn every once a while (thats what i understood) which is exactly then why i cant escape because as i said i dont like masturbation without porn at all

    i dont use p subs, i am avoiding all sexual stuff 95% of the times that i do nofap, sometimes i may click on a sexy profile picture for a few seconds, thats it, and not every day or something. Most thing i did as p sub was a music rap video with nudity, then the day after relapsed. So i stayed away from such things

    also dont have any social media like instagram so i dont see sexually revealing chicks and because it wasted my time
     
  11. You're not fucked. I never really went back to "healthy" MO either. I just avoid it all: P, P-subs, M, O (unless I'm with a partner, I'm currently single), fantasising, ogling..

    Like you I hardly ever crave M. I usually crave P, P-subs or online chat instead. If I give in to any of those cravings, THEN I get the cravings to M as well.

    Another important tip is to replace the habit with better stuff. Even if you get obsessed with Disney films and merchandise or something instead (as a random example), that's way better than PMO.

    yeah i have another addiction, gaming, so because i spend a lot of time gaming, i dont get any arousal (very sometimes i may get a sexual thought after seeing a hot game character, sad really ..) but gaming gave me some bad things too

    good things is like it doesnt give me arousal, it gives dopamine reward when you win instead of dopamine for porn watching, gaming made me find nice friends with similar likings

    bad things, i sit too close to screen and used to play in dark so my eyes are bad now and have to wear glasses, thinking about changing to lenses but i have dry eyes, also my posture is affected because i have much back pain lower middle up.. everywhere, also made me sooo lazy which causes lack of studying and doesnt make me enjoy excercising etc

    Hey, here to provide some hope, fingers crossed. The bottoline line is you have to stop porn and masturbation to get cured. Porn for ever (don't risk relapse later) and masturbation for a long time. I think you are still in the phase where you have not convinced yourself that you want to stop. The addiction is still controlling you some what and you look for excuses rather than simply treating peeking and relapses as bad things. You are however on the right track. At least you have reached the point where you are looking to change. Continue trying everything you can and you'll find that every phase is different and will provide a new learning curve. Most important tip, put yourself in situations where it's difficult to fap. It'll be hard but try to make that your routine. Good luck.

    you are right i am torn between wanting to stop for the effects, and yet wanting to watch these arousing visuals, but i am on the good track for sure when i look at it, instead of masturbating 30 times a month (once a day or sometimes a few cases 2 or 3 times) compared to now, where maybe a week out of a month having done masturbation, it did save a lot of time and prevented things from worsening but its not good enough yet. Look, i want to save sex for marriage so a large part of me is hard to be convinced that i cannot stay without any sexual release (masturbation) for so many years till marriage, and as I mentioned i only enjoy masturbation if porn is involved so that is why a part of me tries to justify porn. First it starts with "you are doing good its only once a week now" then when i relapse "twice a week isnt bad too you know compared to every day" and it slowly brings me back to daily pmo, it happened before

    anyways relapsed now at day 4, we continue..

    also decreased my porn folder, removed some 5 mediocre videos now its from 20 to around 15 videos

    I agree, this was exactly my experience. When I started nofap I tried to rely solely on will power. And this worked for the first month, but porn was always in my head and I peaked a lot. Even made posts trying to justify only looking at porn while avoiding mo etc. But as you mention, one thing leads to the other when you are still addicted and eventually a relapse is inevitable. I started going back to once a week and soon the rate started increasing. However, I kept on using measures to prevent relapse. Kept myself in places I couldn't pmo, when tempted I'd do rigourous activity to get me tired and clear my mind. I realised that pron images in my head started getting weaker and looking at twerking women etc just stopped making sense. The urges sometimes come back with a vague memory of a scene firmly locked in my brain but its much easier to avoid now. I am pleased that I am on day 8 but with clean thoughts and no urges that I cannot resist. So I think you are on the right path, continue actively trying to reduce the rate, use preventive measures and will power all to your advantage. Soon you'll realise that it gets much easier, but it takes time. Good luck.
