I've seen the effects of alcohol on people, never wanted to experience it.
I've seen the effects of tobacco on people, never wanted to experience that either.
I've felt the effects of porn on myself, wish I'd never experienced it.

I guess I'm fairly neutral then. Not for me, but if you want to I'm not going to condemn you.

Perhaps I just don't know enough about the industry, but I don't directly view the women as victims. Yes it's sad that they've resorted to such levels, but it was their choice. Yes?

I've been interested in that documentary for awhile. I think its about time I watched it.

From what Rashida Jones said, it seems like the average amateur porn actress 'escalates' almost like an average porn addict. The porn addict starts by watching softcore, then something like group scenes, then violence, and so on and so on.
Meanwhile, a porn actress is told she'll have to start doing anal, and group scenes, and age-play, and violence, etc etc. Both parties are negotiating with and compromising themselves the whole time.

I also thought the stuff about the current state of porn being a culmination of capitalism, sexual liberation, women's rights, etc, was really interesting.

  3. I think we should legalize drunkeness and tout it as intoxication exploration. Kinda throws a nice spin on an activity which lowers human beings to inhuman conditions like impaired motor skills and poor judgement. Don't mind Bill, he's just expressing himself through a tactic called inebriation liberation. It's a progressive decision. I support him.

  8. Porn is disgusting. One of the many reasons why I want to quit watching porn is the way women are portrayed by it. They are treated brutally like animal and are asked to smile when anyone can see that they are in pain. Watching porn I am supporting such treatment and that means I too could do that to someone. I fear that addiction of porn could change my definition of right and wrong and make the monster I despise because it did change me once, and that's what I'm recovering from.
