I want to do a September life improvement challenge. This means No PMO, adding new habits to change the way you view life. Working out/reading books/watching self improvement videos.

Post everyday about the small things that you do everyday

I'm in. This is a big month for me as my studies come to an end (finally), so I am going to have quite a lot of free time - for better or for worse. So I need some accountability to use this time wisely and undo some of the damage I've done with my head in a book/laptop for the last 3 months...

The reason why I started this is to change the status quo.

Just to give you guys a bit of background. I'm 33 and have been feeling insecure most of my life. I was recently rejected by a girl that I really liked after first date and I realized that I will continually be rejected by the girl I truly want until I am able to be more confident about myself. Through this month I am looking to improve my image,self-confidence, lower social anxiety, become more spiritual.

    Day 1:

I have started lifting weights after 6 months(I just been doing a lot of cardio these few months). Through weight training and NOPMO I am hoping to build more testosterone which will help increase my confidence.

I have watched this video like 5 times today.

I aim to stay PMO-free, exercise more and spend less time online.

What's a good exercise routine for if you haven't trained in at least a year? I struggle with eating enough calories for exercise too.

day 2: I started reading Psycho-Cybernetics. So far it seems like really good self-help book.

Meditated for 30 minutes(I have never tried meditation, hoping to incorporate this into my daily life).

    Did some weight training again,.

I drove downtown today, I wanted to explore the city a bit by myself. I always get nervous when it comes to driving to downtown and figuring out directions. I'm trying to work on my social anxiety by being in places where there are crowds(not a good idea with covid). My goal is to visit 4 different places in downtown by myself and walk around just to get familiar being alone by myself. One of my big fears is going on a date at not knowing my own city, so I want to get over this fear.

There were some urges, keeping busy seems to keep them at bay. Might as well be productive!

Exactly, just shift your mind to something that will improve your life. Keep busy!

Same! First time I feel like I desperately need to be in control of my mind to better my life.

  19. Day 3
Yesterday I did a punching bag using an old pants, it kept me busy for more than an hour and was useful to reduce the time I spend in front of the monitor.

Regarding NoFap my problem is daydreaming, I'm not consuming porn but my head keeps dreaming about sexual situations and that's enough to get an erection.

Keep going bud. You just need to continue to keep busy. Get out of the house if you have to. As guys we are wired to have sexual thoughts throughout the day. The only thing we can do is distract our minds as much as possible.
