This is a long post that I spent quite a while putting together. If you have the time to read this, I would greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts below. There are many potential triggers below for people trying to abstain from all sorts of different fetishes. I also mention several models by name.

Considering that I'm writing this for a website devoted to quitting porn, it goes without saying that those reading this post view the rapid changes that the rise of internet pornography had on society to be, on the whole, negative. We all understand how much of an impact something like porn can have on an enormous number of people without being front-page news. My proposition here is that the rise of OnlyFans will be every bit as damaging to society as the rise of internet porn has been.

OnlyFans launched in 2016, but didn't catch on very much until 2018. Since then, it's popularity has skyrocketed, with ever-increasing numbers of girls making accounts and an ever-increasing number of men joining to spend a seemingly never-ending amount of money on them. Girls really started raking it in over the past two years, with many posting about how much they're making. It started with the most successful making $20k, $30k, etc. As it continued to grow, the numbers just kept getting bigger. $100k year. $100k in a month. Celebrity Bella Thorne recently debuted on the site, and broke their record by pulling in $1 million in her first 24 hours, and another million within the first week.

Let's break down those numbers a little bit more. $1 million in 24 hours is $41,666 every single hour. That's significantly more than the average individual income in the United States. Again, in one hour. For 24 hours. On her first day.

It didn't surprise me in the slightest that Bella Thorne was the first major celebrity to make a adult-focused OnlyFans. She's openly posted kinky stuff on her Instagram before, directed a porn film in 2019, and has been pretty open to sexual stuff in public. She will not, however, be the last. On the contrary, she is only the first of what will become a mass movement of celebrity girls onto the platform. Now, I'm not saying you're going to wake up tomorrow to Emma Watson launching her account (I doubt she ever would). Others, though, have got to be thinking it over. Think of the underwear models who practically already post OnlyFans-worthy content. I genuinely think that if someone like Alexis Ren or Emily Ratajakoswki made their own, they would rake in significantly more than Bella Thorne did. Jordyn Jones already posted on Instagram joking about having made one. At a certain point, what's the downside for them? Hot female celebrities are basically guaranteed to make a million dollars in a day just for launching one, regardless if they're actually posting nudes or not.

There really isn't an argument against what I just said. It's all numbers being broken down. I think that few would disagree. Here's the part where I might start losing people, though: that's a sign of a deeply, deeply fucking sick society. While aspiring doctors and rocket scientists are typically motivated by more than pure financial desires, the pay that they get gives them a certain prestige that helps make the grueling, years-long training they undergo at universities worth it.

OnlyFans is turning that on its head. Now, obviously the average girl who starts up an account there isn't going be raking in six-figures overnight. It actually does take a great deal of determination and consistency to become successful there when you don't already have millions of fans already. But we have to realize the society that is being born by these developments.

The society that we are entering into is one where young girls are growing up learning that some of their role models are becoming obscenely rich by monetizing their bodies and attention. Faced between years of school coupled with taking on tens of thousands of dollars in debt for the opportunity to make $45k a year or the prospect of attracting enough attention to make that in a few months, who can blame them for opting for the later?

The truth of the matter is that many girls will go for the later. Some won't be successful at all and quickly return to a non-OF career field. Some will be somewhat successful, which will help them to get through college. Others will strike is massively rich, and will have OnlyFans & related services as their sole income. Those girls will make more than some of the best and brightest in this world. It will become normal for girls graduating high school and in college to make accounts dedicated to selling explicit content of themselves. Guys' girlfriends will have dozens of other guys (cucks) sending them money just for a chance to talk to them. Girls who don't want to put in the hours at a 9-5 or some other industry will turn to OnlyFans as a way to escape more traditional work culture. It could even become normal in order to get a girl that you need to subscribe to her OnlyFans, or tip her to get her number, attention, etc.

So, here's what it all boils down to. If you've read all this and are okay with the society that I just described, then by all means subscribe to OnlyFans. Give away your money. Some guys give away one hell of a lot of it, far more than they'll ever donate in charity. If not, though, then vow to never spend a single dollar more on that site, or any other related site. If every member stopped spending today, this entire issue would go away. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening any time soon, and we are in all likelihood hurtling towards a culture so foreign that I barely recognize it. I certainly want no part in it. Join me, and opt-out.

In my opinion the most damaging thing about these sites is they prey on the weak.

I feel like they mainly target guys who are very lonely and very under confident, guys with very low self esteem. Guys who don't do well with the opposite sex. Guys who maybe have issues with their mental health who don't really pursue women in the real world, or who always fail with woman in the real world. I think the most damaging thing about these sites is they target guys like this.

Another issue with these sites is they target guys with a femdom, findom fetish. Generally a lot or most of these guys are very under confident guys with very low self esteem.

Many of these guys might be very lonely, have very low self esteem, are very under confident, they might even have mental health problems, but they might also be wealthy. So the amount of social interaction they get with these women on these sites seems worth it to them, it seems worth it to blow a lot of money on them. Because naturally the women on these sites show more interest and spend more time interacting with someone who is paying them. The more they pay them the more interaction they get, and the more rewards they get. These guys might get loads of messages and special custom pictures, videos etc. But then there is also guys with who aren't that wealthy with similar issues who still feel like it is worth spending their money on it. Or they spend their money on it and then regret it later. Because a lot of these guys might have a lot of the issues I mentioned, they might be addicted to the site, they might have a femdom, findom fetish etc.

Then you might also get some guys that just spend some money on these sites because they are horny, just out of curiosity. But then they quickly realise it is a waste of money and don't do it again, or hardly ever do it.

It's crazy the amount of money some people are making on these sites. Particularly famous people. But I have seen a lot lot of models on social media making a complete fortune on onlyfans also. I have even seen attractive everyday women making a complete fortune on onlyfans.

What a lot of women do these days is they advertise a lot of their content on social media sites. They have a link on their social media profiles to a site with all their links to all these different sites on it. So it is more sites than just onlyfans. Admireme etc, then they also have their paypal link up and many other payments methods. Links how to send them gift cards on many sites etc. Many attractive women in every town are doing this, and of course many models and famous people are doing it. Many of them are engaging in findom, which is playing on a lot of guys addiction.

I actually seen a young attractive 21 year old woman on social media who engages in all of this stuff. She was just a young attractive average woman. She could be the girl next door. But from what I could tell from looking through her posts and screenshots on her profile on social media she was making on average about 10 thousand pounds a day from all of this stuff. I think we will see all sorts of women making figures like this through all of this stuff. Some might make 500 a day, some might make 1000 a day, some might make 5000 a day, some might make 10000 thousand a day. Then the really famous people are making extremely obscene money from all of this stuff. I actually find it more crazy when every day average women who are simply just quite attractive in every town are making crazy money from this kind of thing. But this seems to be the reality of what is happening, and a lot more woman are catching on to it.

What is happening these days is many women all around the world are catching on to this. They are realising if they are even a little bit attractive they can make a regular income from all of this. They can even potentially make a crazy amount of money from all of this.

But as I already mentioned, the bottom line is it is mainly preying on weak, vulnerable men with all sorts of problems. Many aren't fully aware that they are preying on men with these sort of issues, and many are actually fully aware of what they are doing.

But the reality is many don't care. They just see it as I can make a fortune from this, I can make a regular income from this, and I actually couldn't care less if I am preying on men with these sort of issues. Many of them actually like the fact that men like this exist so they can prey on them and make a regular income from them, so they can make a complete fortune from them.

Many people might think well it is your own fault if your stupid enough to engage in this sort of crap and pay for this sort of crap. But realise that these issues that cause a lot of people to engage in this sort of crap can be caused by addiction, mental health problems, seriously low self esteem, being seriously under confident, and being seriously lonely.

The bottom line is people that make money from all of these things are actually preying on a lot of people that have these kind of issues. But a lot of them don't see that, and a lot of them don't care anyway. They just see it as a source of income, or a way to make a complete fortune. This is the most thing they care about.

These women on onlyfans and these other platforms basically just cast their fishing rod in to the water and think to themselves I wonder how many suckers are going to bite today.

This is my view on sites like onlyfans.

Agreed. Some of them are more malicious than others, but definitely exploitative. However, I do think that the responsibility for this still falls squarely on the men. Unless someone is blackmailing you, you're choosing to hit send each and every time. The fact that there are people out there who will encourage you to willingly give them your money is hardly surprising.

The thing that I think we need to focus on going forward is providing resources to men who are struggling with this specific aspect of porn addiction, especially findom. There really isn't much out there at all... I'm going to think of things we can do, because this has reached truly insane levels.

The society is feminising and men are becoming boys because they lose their masculinity. However at the same time women are being objectified but femdom porn is also on the rise.

I feel like when porn becomes the norm, humanity will fail and start to disintegrate

Do you think women are wrong for engaging in this though?

They realise they can make very easy money from it, they realise they can make a steady income from it, and some also even manage to make an absolute fortune from it.

Are these women wrong for doing this?

I even feel like on this site there would be a mix of different opinions on wither this is actually wrong or not.

Ardent feminists are largely in agreement with us on this, too. Modern society has quadrupled down on the monetization and hyper-sexualization of women.

Yes indeed. Sex selling is as old as time itself but with the level of accesibility we have nowadays not to mention the situation created by the COVID-19 times we live in. Well we've reached never before seen levels of this, and if you ask me not only do i not see this stopping anytime soon, in fact i see it will get even worse and maybe even reach many levels of wrong.

In my opinion it's mainly the social media platforms that need cleaned up. Lets face it there is basically pornographic content on social media. All that femdom and findom stuff is huge on social media sites, and one social media site in particular. It was actually that social media site that caused me to first discover femdom and findom and caused me to first become aroused by femdom and findom.

This content and these onlyfans accounts are advertised on these social media platforms. If these social media sites were cleaned up then I think these women would find it much more difficult to get their content out there. I think much less guys would get sucked in to this fetish also if these social media platforms were cleaned up.

  11. BREAKING NEWS: SOME PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PAY MONEY TO SEE NAKED WOMEN!

    My mind is blown.

Hey op, you should add [RANT] in the title so that people know what they're about to read. I had a gut reaction when I saw this thread that it would have no place in this subforum, and I was right. This has nothing to do with porn addiction. This is just you saying "hey everyone, I have traditional values, and I gotta say I don't like what they young people are doing these days."

How does it not have a place here? Onlyfans is porn content.

I suppose it comes down to should porn be banned or not?

I don't necessarily think it should be banned, but I do think it should be more restricted as the default, and if you choose to turn those restrictions off then that is your choice.

But I definitely think the social media sites should be cleaned up, and this sort of content should not be on social media sites and advertised on social media sites in the first place.

Social media sites are not porn sites, and I think they should be cleaned up.

Through my own experience I know I discovered femdom and findom on social media sites. An extreme amount of femdom videos, pictures and posts are posted on these sites 24/7. This content is porn. Porn which should not be on social media sites in the first place. Then also these onlyfans accounts etc being promoted on social media sites by the same women who are posting their porn content on these sites.

This is what I think should be cleaned up. Just all porn in general should be removed from social media sites.

I honestly believe if these women who make a lot of money on onlyfans and other platforms couldn't post this sort of content on social media sites, if they couldn't advertise their onlyfans on social media sites, then I believe these women wouldn't be anywhere near as successful.

People lining up and spending millions of dollars on a porn website for women who actively encourage addiction, debt, and relapse isn't porn addiction?

It's a dangerous site. Just what's going on in the world at the moment with women using these sort of platforms to take advantage of men with all sorts of issues is dangerous. In my opinion it is actually much worse than all the free porn sites online.

There are so many homeless people all around the world who are freezing during night times in autumn or winter. There are people who are seriously suffering from any kind of illnesses and need as fast as possible a therapy but they can't afford it. All those people who spend their money to Onlyfans are self-centered Egoists. As soon as you know this fact, you would help those homeless people by giving them some warm clothes, a warm soup and some Bugs so this person can buy himself a tea or a Coffee ....actually, people could do so much great things on earth but they have decided not to do and what countsis just them only. Only ME ME Me and nothing else,.. .I would definetly respect those people much more who do good things for strangers rather than people who wasting their money for their weakness to female and nude bodies masturbating. Its such a shame. I hope those people rot in hell (which I personally don't believe)

You could say that about any addiction though where people blow a lot of money. Gambling addiction etc.

Make no mistake about it, that a lot of guys that blow their money on platforms like onlyfans etc are seriously addicted to it. Addicted to it to such an extent that it can actually get to a stage where they need to block their bankcards from these sites, the same way a gambling addict can get to the stage where they need to block their bankcards from gambling sites.

I get your point that all that money could go to a better cause. But literally hoping people like this rot in hell is too far.

That's like me saying to you I hope you rot in hell for being addicted to porn. You don't want to be addicted to porn, and these guys don't want to be addicted to that.

  18. Do you think the sites are preying, or those kind of men with those issues are naturally attracted to sites like OnlyFans? At some point we have to take accountability as men, and it should be our primary course of action, not the last resort...
There are always going to be scammers, but there is education out there to avoid falling victim. It is horrible to exploit someone's flaws, but when is our primary voice of reason going to be- "get your self esteem up and stop paying for women? Brush your teeth, take a shower and get on nofap. Stop paying for degeneracy" instead of "So sorry this horrible person is exploiting your low self esteem, they're so terrible for that they need to be shut down." They will shut down themselves down when the revenue goes in the red. This is not just for OnlyFans, but pornography, prostitutes and even the softcore porn they're calling music videos.
We have morally degenerated as men. Our values are fucked up. We will partake in any and every vice and then blame others for making it available to us- and even worse, berate those who tell us to do better. This has got to stop.

Agreed. It should come as little surprise that there are people out there who will take money that we willingly send to them. While I'm not excusing the scummy nature of dommes on OnlyFans, this whole thing could be shut down tomorrow if we just stopped sending.

The thing you need to understand though is this is basically the type of thing that some guys have escalated to. So you know how some guys escalate to a particular porn genre and this is what it takes to get them off, this is the porn genre that excites them most, this is the most thing that they are addicted to? Well some guys have escalated to doing this sort of thing through porn use. Developing porn induced fetishes like findom, engaging in findom etc through sites like onlyfans.

So say hypothetically you have escalated to having a foot fetish for example, and feet porn is the main thing you end up on when you relapse. It's the same deal for these guys who have escalated to findom and using sites like onlyfans. When they relapse findom and sites like onlyfans are the main things these guys want to go on.

I am just not keen on the huge rise in these type of platforms, and the huge rise in women who are engaging in this sort of thing. These type of platforms are a relatively new phenomenon, and the way it's going I can only see them getting bigger. It wouldn't surprise me if it eventually got to a stage a high percentage of women in every town were basically making a living off of these sort of platforms. It was bad enough when guys were addicted to free porn.

I am on nofap and pornfree. But I am not immune to relapse. I do sometimes slip.
