I am a 16 year old male who started Nofap sometime in august because I just didnt feel like fapping and I just decided to try NoFap just cause. Yes, I would fap with porn, but I was never addicted to it recently. I used to watch porn everyday and fap to it cause I was bored, or I wanted to fap, but I stopped doing this around the age of 15. I used to fap maybe 3 times a week, and sometimes i didnt need porn to fap. I havent fapped since I stopped, and I dont really see any benefits, or even a reason to continue not fapping. I guess i have more time because I dont fap anymore, but it would only take me an hour at most off of my day. I also guess I have a bit more energy, but nothing worth doing this. I have had no erection problems, or any problems with women. i have alawys been more socially reserved, but this was before i discovered porn, and I dont think that its the culprit behind it, although I can socailize fairly well.
Now, my question is, since I know all the dangers of porn, but masturbation does not really have an effect at all, should I continue to masterbate, but without porn?
I really see no reason for me to continue with this.

If its not an addiction its not a problem you should take care off right ? But its also a waste of time and energy you can focus on something productive.

I get what you mean but you can apply this to anything that’s not productive, like watching a movie or playing games, so I still don’t see a reason since it’s not taking over my free time

It seems that you weren't really addicted in the first place. NoFap isn't really about gaining "super powers" it is about changing your brain back to normal. These benefits can occur because if you have a big addiction, Going back to normal and fixing your brain feels amazing. This occurs with recovery from any addiction. If you haven't really felt any benefits then you didn't have a problem to begin with.

Porn is never okay to watch. It will mess your brain up no matter what. You should never watch porn. If you choose to fap then your choice. Personally I prefer not fapping and the discipline that comes with it. Even if it is a placebo affect I still feel better when i'm not fapping. Try going 90 days. If you ever had an addiction 90 days will most likely cure it and you will truly know what it feels like when your brain heals. If you don't feel any better after 90 days you can choose to fap or not. You just can't go like three days and say I don't feel any different. Changes take time and until you have gone 90 days you won't truly know what it is like to do NoFap.

I guess I will try 90 days, I’ll try to retain my streak until 2021
