    Hey there;

I really need help, i'm going through the worst withdrawal of pmo atm
and i feel like i'm loosing my mind ...

I started nofap about 2 years ago and i've been on and off, the longest streak that i had was 17 days, and during those streaks i've never had realy bad anxious problems, never had any withdrawals or a flatline.

But this time, it's really really bad .. i started 6 days ago and gradually throughout the days i would just feel bad and more anxious specialy in the morning (i would shake, feel really really anxious and i'd feel like i want to vomit) along with bad acid reflux. It is literaly 100% physical and no matter how hard i was trying to relax, it had no effects. I also got really emotional lately to the point of crying about something that doesn't bother me. (i rarely cry)

Before the 6 days started, i was totally fine ! I would go out socialazing, didn't feel anxious that much and im not depressed. There was no traumatic events that happened

Before, i would fap and peak from time to time but for this streak i went cold turkey and i didn't have any sexual desire since day 2 (Flatline ?) I've read on articles that cortisol might just go crazy along with other chemicals and that would be the reason of that intense anxiety, so i force myself to go through this crazy phase but it's just so tough. I help myself with x4n4x which relax me temporary

I'm reaching for you guys to see if anybody out there went through the same phase so that i dont forget that all of that is temporary and that there is a end to it...

    Thanks.

    Hey!

If you want my advice I think what you need to focus on most of all is being calm. It sounds like you're focusing your energy on analyzing your state and are kind of locked into it.

So even if you're abstaining from one thing you've got all this blocked energy now that needs release and I think you're focusing on your stress and causing psychosomatic symptoms (physical symptoms that are caused by state of mind, mood, chemicals and hormones).

So to start to calm down you need to focus on forgetting about nofap stuff but also that doesn't mean masturbate at all or use porn it just means not to think about nofap either or anything to do with sex, start to think about psychosomatic symptoms and whether it sounds like your experience. Then maybe you can focus on drinking more water and having a good diet. If you have nothing to do with your time and don't want to do that stuff then it will be really hard. How many green vegetables do you eat anyway just curious.

    Thanks for the fast answer,

edit : Thinking about it, not alot of things change between before my streak and now, my way of thinking was pretty much the same, i was fine before with it but since i started this streak, anxiety came to me no matter "how" i would think. Like i said, no matter how much i try to just relax, its there.
I eat green vegetables once every 3 to 4 days. I dont drink soda and mostly eat healthy (no junk food)

I also try to go out everyday, either for a walk or a bike ride atm

I experience the same thing ... and I mean exactly the same.

I know when it's starting because every morning I gargle mouthwash and when this anxiety kicks in I can't gargle without gagging. I feel so anxious that eating makes nauseous and I have acid reflux just like you said. This phase of the reboot is so hard to get through that I only managed it once, it lasted about 15 days or so and every day was a struggle. I don't think there's any way to make it easier or make it pass quicker, you've just got to suck it up and put up with it until it passes.

Thanks for the answer, knowing that i'm not alone gives me courage.
i didn't expect flatline to be so tough .. anxiety hits you differently everyday.

So you had no libido during those 15 days ? did it came back when you got out of it ?

I had no libido from day 1 until day 60ish, then it came back with a bang. The anxiety/depression and other withdrawal symptoms I had from day 10-25 roughly.

Hello. Try doing 3-5 hunger days. That will completely change what's inside ur head, and ur vision about this. Even your focus.

I have been getting a lot anxiety too. But it's super weird. Basically what happens is my brain keeps telling me something is a relapse when it's not. I think it's just sexual thoughts though trying to trick me into relapsing.

hey guys, find out the i had low vitamin d today (bellow healthy range) which increase symptoms of depression, anxiety and depersonalization and thats why it was unbearable for me.
Just a little message to warn you that you should check in your vitamins levels before trying nofap which will (beside the amazing feeling) put your mind and your body at stress.
It's already hard to deal with a flatline but if on top of that you have deficienty, it will make you feel awful x100

    Take care boyz

Your overt and compounded stress is probably making you more sick and symptomatic than PMO.
