How do you know they aren't some immature teen or young person who had the nerve to start viewing child porn? Why are they calling themself that is the question if they are being serious.

I can see that you want to change this behavior and you want to be a normal person, otherwise you wouldn't be writing here. There is hope mate! There is still hope! You have the intelligence and common sense to know waht is right and what isn't, what is good for you and for the others and what is not good. You have the intelligence and common sense to get to know the True (if you know of who I am talking about). If you really want to change I highly advise you to talk to God (Jesus).

Take matters into your hands and seek professional help. You surely can't do it by yourself and I'm afraid our thread, which deals with sexual behaviours, can be only of some help.

You've admitted to your problem. That's a step not everyone can do. The next step should be a proper therapy, because your problem is something you can get rid of.

Stay positive. Here, we're all dealing with something that makes our life a living hell, but the fact that we're here means that we've had enough. Just don't give up and fight your weakness with dedication.

If you don't want pedophiles out there, you should begin not judging or condemning him. He already knows what is correct and what isn't. Adiction feeds of guilt.

By the way, anybody coud finish doing what he/she thought he would never do. You might think that it won't be your case, but maybe you haven't been pushed that far or you haven't had the proper circumstances to make you do what you said you would never do. As human beeings we have limits. So I recommend you to be humble, because in this life everything could happen.

It's exactly his fault. He has a mental illness which he hasn't treated yet and didn't work on getting rid of it. Humans have the ability to be responsible, but OP doesn't want to be responsible for his actions and would probably blame it on petty excuses like "I was born this way" or "I have a mental illness so I won't do anything about it and continue to be a degenerate".
