My goals

    I relapsed today :(.
    I want to hit 90 days pmo and achieve some other goals. I think a thread could help me to stay strong. So what are my goals?
    Goal 1: 90 days PMO free
    Goal 2: studying atleast 2 hours a day
    Goal 3: minimalize social media usage
    Goal 4: workout atleast 4 days a week
    Goal 5: trying to socialize more (I'm extremely shy and have low confidence)
    Goal 6: trying to meditate once a day minimu
    added
    Goal 7: doing 100 push-ups daily

    A bit more information about me.
    I'm now a 18 years old male. I'm on my way in making a better version from myself everyday.
    I was always a very shy kid with not very much friends and always very silent.
    My whole live I struggled with my weight which lead to bullying when I was younger.
    I fell in the circle of PMO at the age of 14 yrs old. It went from some times a week to every day to multiple times a day.
    First I wasn't aware of the issue I thought it was normal. I thought everyone from my age did it. I had some problems in my life but I would never have thought that there was a relation with that and PMO.
    So at the start of 2020 I discovered the nofap forum, that day I tried starting. I relapsed a few time at the start but after a while I got a pretty decent streak. I started losing weight I felt less anxious and my life started to get better.
    But now I'm here I'm still not very happy with how I am I still want to improve myself that's why I'm here.

    Day 1
    Day 1 was a pretty hard day but for me the first week is always the hardest one.
    :emoji_white_check_mark:I had sexual thoughts through the day but I didn't look at porn, didn't masturbate and didn't orgasm and also haven't looked at girls on social media or something.
    :emoji_red_circle:I worked a bit for school but not enough
    :emoji_red_circle:I watched social media less than back in the days but still too much
    :emoji_white_check_mark:Did my workout 2/4 completed already
    :emoji_white_check_mark:I had much sexual thoughts when I wanted to get asleep so I did some breathing exercises and it worked

    Day 2
    Day 2 was almost the same as day 1.
    :emoji_white_check_mark:No PMO 2/90
    :emoji_white_check_mark:Worked for school more than 2 hours
    :emoji_heavy_plus_sign::emoji_heavy_minus_sign: Less social media than yesterday but still too much
    :emoji_white_check_mark:Took a rest day so no workout but 2/4 completed
    :emoji_red_circle:No meditation exercises, my wifi wasn't working had some struggle to fall asleep

    Day rating: 60%

    Good stuff man! I'd recommend to keep out of social media as much as possible bc it can lead to relapse. Try either deleting the apps, applying time limits or website and app blockers.

    I'm now trying with an app that adds time limits. Deleting all my social media would be difficult because some stuff like messenger etc. I also use for school projects with classmates.

    Yeah that seems to work too. But I'd recommend either disabling or deleting the unnecessary ones (i.e. reddit, instagram, twitter). Keep the ones that you use for messaging or other things however.

    Day 3 went pretty well, with some little struggles

    :emoji_red_circle:Did all my school stuff but still haven't started studying for the exams so I'm not happy
    :emoji_red_circle:I used social media less than the day before but still way too much (and searched for things I better don't)
    :emoji_white_check_mark:Did my workout 3/4 done
    :emoji_white_check_mark:Did a meditiation exercise
    Day rating 60%

    Day 4 went again pretty. I'm already getting less urges but I need to stay strong when they come.

    Dang man your story does sound a lot like mine! I guess 2020, despite being a crappy year, was still a big time of awakening for many of us.
    I'm very glad to hear that there are many people, including you and all others in this forum, going through this self-improvement journey. I truly do hope that we succeed one day and can take back what this addiction has taken from us.

    Day 5
    For the first time in months I've got a wet dream I don't remember what I dreamed about so that's a good sign I think. Through the day I almost haven't got any urges, I was busy the whole day which helped alot.

    :emoji_white_check_mark:Almost no social media because I was busy the whole day
    :emoji_white_check_mark:No workout but 4/4 done
    :emoji_white_check_mark:Did a short meditation exercise
    Day 4 was the best day which I've got so far. Day rating 80%

    2020 was a pretty shit year but I think that's for everyone, covid destroyed our social lives. But as you said you were more home etc, you were more confronted with yourself. This was also for me a wake up call I needed to improve myself.

    Again I was very busy this day so it went pretty good.

    I forgot to post my day yesterday but they were as good as the same as before.
    Day 7 & 8

    :emoji_red_circle:Stil used social media too much but I've saw it's already an hour less than last week so that's pretty good

    I'll follow this thread, you are like me, you have some goals and you want to achieve. Some of the goals are similar to me. I am 25 years old. I appreciated your tidy list, similar to mine. :)
