    Day 6.
    First of all, Hppy New Year Everyone. I must say, even if this year was not the best (by any means), it was a great year nonethenless. Why? Because this year we were fighting against the forces of PMO, this addiction that made us slaves of our bodies, our soul being a serf to our impulses. What a terrible life we lived not being even aware of our slavish condition. By deciding on exterminate this addiction we made ourselves free men this year, because, as Bronislaw Malinowskiwould say, "freedom inits essence is the accepteance of the chains which suit you and for which you are suited, and of harness in which you pull towards an end chosen and valued by yourself, and not imposed. It is not, and never can be, the absence of restrictions, obligations or law and of duty".
    And well, if this year of 2020 was not the best but we still made this wonderful decision: search liberty, then what do you think we can acomplish in 2021?
    Lastly, thank you everyone for this year! LET'S KEEP THE GOOD FIGHT!

    Day 24. Had an awesome run this morning and am feeling great. The urges really are not that bad right now. I am so excited to have made it this far and feel that I have real potential to achieve a 90 day PMO reset. Happy new year everyone !!!

    Day 1 people..

    Positives

    1)I had amazing time meditating..
    2) I limited my Overthinking.. I need to tell myself that the end was what I wanted it to be...
    My affirmation
    I dont care about what I endured in the journey as the end was what I always wanted
    3) didn't binge

    Negatives
    -Missed prayers as I had promised not to miss a prayer intentionally..
    - didn't study.
    - didn't journal well.
    - didn't follow organized plan
    ( as I had planned to plan on an hourly basis to enhance productivity and limit procrastination)

    Day 53 checking in! I felt un urge to relapse today but I got out of the house in the daring cold and smoked as my prevention plan for smoking has not been quite implemented yet. I am trying that also, yet the priority is to prioritize NoFap first, writing second and stopping smoking later but I'm still trying daily to cut off as much as I can... yet today it was a harder day... and I know fully well why... and I will try to explain a little bit, why today I was close to relapsing.
    As we all are quite aware... yesterday was the new years eve so many people gathered and celebrated, a majority of which (me included) drank alcohol. Now alcohol itself has it's many effects, yet an effect that I keep forgetting is that, alcohol consumption ruins the quality of the sleep and it dysregulates the body's rhythm. Now let's add the effort we put our body through by eating more than usual (as it happens at parties), dancing and staying up more than we usually do on a regular night (sometimes until the morning) and we are preparing our body and mind to be tired the next day. With that tiredness our cognitive power becomes drastically lower making us ripe to accept any source of immediate pleasure tricking our brain to think that if it wastes a small amount of energy we will be rewarded with a bigger amount of energy and every situation in our life would improve drastically.
    Basically fatigue hacks our dopamine system to lower it's standards for what it's considered worthy of a dopamine release. The steps for getting out of this are mostly the same... Meditation, work-out, cold showers Hydration (your body is dehydrated from the night before, so make sure your water intake levels are on point... or even higher than usual), working on your goals!
    Today I'm just drinking water, do some push-ups and reflecting on the goals I want to achieve until day 90.

    A great big Thank You is in order for @RiseToGreatness for the rank change, but also for your words that keep us going and inspire us to become better ourselves.

    Happy New Year everyone. Had a moment where my thoughts and worries were getting out of control this morning, but pulling myself back to journaling instead of thinking helped me find my truth. That was a nice moment. I'm proud to be on this journey with you.

    One more day Fellowship. Lost myself in the eating and drinking department last night and today, and now the urges are overwhelming. I´m not a heavy drinker or heavy eater, but on the holidays i usually make an exception. and as fate would have it, if it wasn´t for my post-relapse plan, i would have collapsed yesterday when everybody had gone to sleep.

    i´m really starting to ponder if it pays off to indulge in eating/drinking on the holidays, just for afterwards feeling low, lethargic and full of urges. in fact it feels an imature behaviour to stuff oneself, almost childish. now i´m drinking sparkling water to minimize my own deviant behaviour. oh well... :mad: i´m seriously thinking in changing these behaviours, because, quite franckly, they´re plain stupid.

    Anyway, this is my reflection :), i hope your new year celebration was good. Let´s carry on :).

    The following brothers have upgraded and reach places in Middle Earth. Congratulations!!! :)

    @Ciceron - Anduin River / Wilderland
    @Teutão - Uruk-Hai
    @Prophet Moonstruck - Halls of Moria
    @americanbison - Hobbit / Hobbiton (now starting the journey to destroy the ring. Good luck brother!!!! )
    @Strugglingforyears - Weathertop / Eriador

    Let´s welcome our new member:

  17. Checking in for day 2!

    Had a few beers with friends last night, which made today kind of a lazy day in which I did not work out or eat that good (but also not that bad, just didn't watch my calories). From tomorrow on I will keep a steady rhythm again meeting all my goals, since the holidays will be over.

    Tips followed:
    1- Meditate: check.
    2- Stay accountable daily: check.
    3- Study about the reboot: check.
    4- Take cold showers: check.
    5- Challenge daily your excuses to PMO: check. One major excuse I find myself thinking from time to time since my reset; "I just reset, so just watch all the porn you want now to get it out of your system and then continue", which is of course bullshit.
    6- Follow a triggers prevention plan: check.
    7- Get occupied. Work in your hobbies and dreams: didn't do that today, but will tomorrow.
    8- Practice physical exercise: didn't do that today, but will tomorrow.
    9- Eat healthy: didn't do that today, but will tomorrow.
    10- Sleep well: check.

    Well I’ve fucked up and down to 0

    The really bad thing is that I didn’t even stop after that and I’ve binged for like 3 hours. and that just sucked.

    But I’ve made it to day 4 before I’ve fall, and I just want to go back to day 4 and continue from there.
    i really want to be free:(
