  2. Don't reset because of that. It's natural. Our goal here is not to PMO, not about letting semen out while you sleep.

  3. 6 days clean, almost 7 (2 hours to go).
I know it's only a week and a mere fraction of my last streak but it feels so good to be able to get this far.

  4. Checking in on Days 31 and 32: had a lazy day yesterday, so I'm pushing myself as a way of learning that lesson, that being drained can happen at any moment, so it's good to prepare for it. Anyway, I did play chess and meditate, along with reading the news and walking. I will be training too, so that'll mean I'm close to finishing my second week of training.

I'm glad to have made a month -- it's just now it feels like the no-PMO journey is truly beginning. Apparently, days 30-40 are going to be the toughest part of the no-PMO journey so far; but, it is what it is. The fact that I've made a month is good, but making it to a year let alone 500 days, I would say that it would feel like a drag if it wasn't for the fact that every day feels more like an opportunity to grow and develop as a person, depending on my choices. It's half and half: the day counter isn't as bad -- but I believe it is an important lesson to not obsess over it. It's all about self-control. Self-control extends not just from no-PMO, but to the smallest of tasks -- it's significant that, in the end, it's the person that decides what they do.

    Day 0
It's extra hard to do it when you are at home 24/7. However, it's not fair to blame the pandemic for my relapse. I have not been here everyday, taken cold showers, even found the best trigger plan for me. I am gonna be more careful from now on.

Day 30. I have reached Rivendell! I am feeling accomplished but anxious today. I don't feel that I slept well last night and I am just getting back to work where there are some issues with a couple of projects. I am glad that I got most of the first portion of my initial 90 day no PMO reboot done over vacation. Now I can layer on the added stress from my job and work at managing that rather than dealing with the added stress of starting a reboot at the same time. This will mark the beginning of the real test.

Checking in today. To be blunt - yesterday and today I was surprised to have a couple of "spontaneous" erections. They quickly followed sexual thought/fantasy that popped into my head. So far, those thoughts and fantasies have been expected and manageable. These latest ones didn't feel any more powerful than usual, nor did I indulge in them, which is why the erections were concerning. The thoughts were mostly even about building a more intimate sexual relationship with my wife. Lol even writing this I'm starting to see my patterns. This is a good reminder that I'm not out of the woods yet, that everything counts, and there are no excuses.

Stay sharp! Any relevant advice would be welcome.

Tonight will mark 3 days clean.

Here are my goals for the next week:
    • No PMO or peeking on social media
    • Continue exercising regularly
    • Put "Urge Protocol" into action when an urge arises (high rep exercise, cold shower, walk outside, etc.)
    • Stay off phone while in bedroom. Leave bedroom door open if roommates are home to avoid edging.
    • Only check news while on my lunch break at work
    • Pack up more boxes for moving
    • Go for a hike
    • Play some games on PS2 or PS4 (in moderation)
    • Meal prep with some healthy food
    • Call & check in on some friends & relatives
Also, here's a topic for the group if anyone has any thoughts to offer:

I've come across a few questionably credible youtubers that offer some valuable life skills but also give a platform to what seems like pseudoscience. Is it a good idea to still support them since they give some mixed vibes?

Good luck and Godspeed to everyone in recovery. Onward to 10 days!

  15. There's nothing wrong about being more sexually intimate with your wife, unless you're dealing with some sort od sex addiction or you both are practicing chastity for any reason.

I feel as though these fantasies are at least a sign you're on the right path.

Not specifically related to you, but I thought this would be a good post to share my philosophy which is influenced by my faith. Masturbation is bad for a number of reasons, but it's primarily bad because it is selfish and we rob others of pleasure we should be giving, not solely receiving.

So maybe you should find someway and sometime to be more intimate with your wife, it could be better for both of you.

    Day 5.
I don´t post regularly as normal but I still reading your post, and praying for us all.

Remember to fight in your field, not in the enemy´s one. If the battle is fought where he wants and with his conditions, he will win. Where we can achieve victory? In virtue. Keep practicing them and ask God for them. The one who defeated Sauron was not a great knight but a humble hafling. Mordor wants to dictaminate the rules of the war: big armies, enormous power, fear, hopeless, treason... "You will be doing PMO forever". But these are not our weapons, we are little and poor hobbits sacrifying themselves for the Shire, Gondor´s soldiers defending the beauty and the wisdom of Minas Tirith, brave Rohirrims sorrounded by Uruks in a last stand. We can win if we give all for the good and pursue the virtues. There is always hope, because after each night the day comes. And even in the blackest of nights Sauron cannot hide the stars. Stay strong! Sauron will fall and the Ring will be destroyed!

St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us!
