It wasn't long ago when I could at least go a week without pmo, but over the past couple of months I've been pmo'ing pretty much every day, and it completely drains me. I tried reading the SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION pmo SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION a second time around but admittedly haven't committed to it much because any time i read about this kind of stuff it just makes me want to pmo even more. How do you just stop cold turkey, and never go back? Or did you find it easier to cut down slowly? Any input would be appreciated.

Cold turkey, anytime I tried to cutdown it made it worse. Its harder to do cold turkey but its much better overall imo.

Cold Turkey and then removing distractions gradually.

the mainstream way here is to go cold turkey whilst having some goal unrelated to nofap, workout or whatnot.

I find the first 2 weeks to be the hardest. After its a matter of discipline and never letting your guard down. Sport really helps when you have urges.

Yeah cold turkey for me was the best way. The first time I attempted it was definitely uncomfortable but over the 3 years I've done nofap it certainly becomes easier over time. You also learn from your failures. Finding other ways to relax is also really helpful such as exercise and meditation. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
