  1. @xXsinnerXx I think deleting those registry keys is dangerous. You can right click on them and deny read permission to users and admins... Or if you want CT to work in safe mode you have to add a new key : Power_a17007 to both Minimal and Network and in the default value on the right hand pane add "Service" as the value

I am currently using a cheap Huawei router. It lets you change the DNS and block IP ranges. Are you sure your router doesn't allow you to change your DNS? This is a very basic feature. Enforcing a DNS worked well with all Huawei routers that I have tried. If the problem is that your ISP does DNS hijacking, you might want to buy a router that is supported by OpenWRT or DD-wrt. You could use DNSCrypt on those to overcome the DNS hijacking done by your ISP. Doing this can be a bit complicated, if you're a newbie. Also, you could brick your router in the process. You might only need an average router and just change the DNS. I haven't flashed my router or messed with anything because I don't need it.

@Mostly harmless sent you a PM, mate.

Oh then I think I've run into the same problem then. Cause I thought the enforcing of DNS config profile was the solution.

Just to be sure I understand you, a possible bypass method is to install another config profile or user added VPN that overrides the enforced DNS config?

You could add a line to the profile to prevent any other profile from overriding it.
    https://www.mediafire.com/file/xc8koua563t8qeg/profile1.mobileconfig/file
Also, you could edit this profile and add your own DNS server.

The real problem is with VPN apps

If you found porn sites not being blocked, you could send them to this email: [email protected]
They should block the sites in no time.
If you want to block custom sites then click on Web Security>Gear button on the upper right corner>exclusion list. To be able to add any sites, FortiClient needs to be unlocked with its password.

  14. Is there a way to whitelist websites as well? I’m a student so I need to login to the WiFi on campus every time my computer restarts. The login page is an unrated url so it blocks that. Also, forticlient blocks lockbox too sometimes so I can’t even access it. Any fixes for this?

    yes,
    Web Security>Gear button
Click on Unrated icon and click allow.
Also, you could add allowed sites to exceptions.

Hey guys, I sold my Samsung Chromebook Plus v2 and switched to a Windows I'm still trying to set up.

These are the programs I used to block on the Chromebook:
    Appblock by Mobilesoft
DNSChanger set in DNS Clean Browsing Family Filter
Google Family Link (the most important of all in my opinion)
And I HIGHLY recommend that you try to install TestDPC on your Chromebook. I was trying to download but I had to sell my chromebook.

The Chromebook has loopholes like Guest Browsing, Factory Reset, Sites that the DNS does not block, etc. Google Family Link blocks things like Guest Browsing and websites that you want. I recommend that you follow the Sinner guide to get started, as I also suggest that you have a chat process with someone you trust and can help you set up Google Family Link

Appblock is used to block "Settings", "Dnschanger" etc.
It must be blocked by a pin that a trusted person sets for you.
    .
I already explained Dnschanger, activate the always-on vpn option in the mobile settings and configure the app.

I haven't tested it, but I'm 80% sure that TestDPC also works on the Chromebook, and you must have the app to block Factory Reset, things like that. If you are going to download TestDPC do not forget to release the developer mode of the Chromebook and access the USB Debugging.

Sorry for the English mistakes. I'm Brazilian and I'm trying to contribute here on the forum. Peace, guys!!
