    Ah, Belgium!
I learned how to pronounce "Ghent." It's like you just ignore the "h."
The Antwerp Zoo is huge and fantastic! I loved it very much, and I supported animals by going.
I had some amazing chocolate too; how could I pass up Belgian chocolate?
Waterloo was a necessity too. I saw the large mound with the statue of the lion on top, and the rest of it. It was very cool.
I spent a few days in Brussels, taking in all the sights from high on the buildings and low in the streets.

    So, Belize...
There are tons of caves to check out, so I enjoyed some of those. I tubed through; it was very cool.
The next stop was the island of San Pedro, just two hours off shore on the water taxi, so very worth the trip. There were quite a few buildings built over the water.
The lizards are so cool too. They are always around just checking you out.
I saw lots of fish, rays, and eels while diving.
I also enjoyed just sitting on the beach soaking up the sun and having drinks.

All in all, Belize was a hit!

If anyone is curious, I have been away from this thread for a few months, and have stayed P-free, so I need to catch up a lot. I hope you will be seeing a lot of me here for a while.

    Benin
20,000 people live on the water here, which amazed and fascinated me.
There is a temple of worshipping pythons because they eat the animals that would destroy crops, so people started to worship pythons.
Sadly, Benin was the home of the largest slave trade in Africa, so there is a lot of important history. I visited a museum and saw some of the evidence. It was sobering, and I actually got a lot out of it, so I am grateful to have gone.
I am glad to have gone to Benin overall. It was of course very warm, and the people are strong and good. There is a lot of empowering of women going on there, so that is awesome too. People are great there.

Bangladesh - I've been looking forward to it. I "talked" to some guys from there on a phone game a year ago.

It was fun to see what life is like in baka (sp?). Bike cabs, carrying things on your head in a basket. People assembling trinkets and flip flops above stores and working their butts off... Mosques and a pink place, but really the daily life view is what I enjoyed about the tour.

It puts in perspective how lucky I feel for what I have.

    Bhutan!

Bhutan is a country of mountains, so there are a lot of events at high altitudes. I went to a festival, of which there are many. I took a trek to the Himalayas. I wanted to hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, but I was too winded from the high altitude and thinner air. Nonetheless, I learned about it. It is a monastery overlooking the Punaka Valley, surrounded by rice fields.
The fertility temple made me laugh. There are tons of phallic symbols, and penises all over the walls of the outside.
Nearly every bus stops at Dochula Pass, so I could not resist going there. It was interesting and beautiful.

Bhutan was not as nice as many of the other countries I have visited, but it was still worth the trip. I enjoyed it.

    Bolivia
I learned in Spanish class in High School that La Paz was the capital, but I did not know anything else about the country. It is relatively undeveloped, and I did not need to spend much to have a great time. The conquistadores shaped and polished the buildings there in La Paz, and it was interesting to tour them. The Museo National de Arte (National Art Museum) was fantastic and rich with culture and beauty.
I went exploring in the countryside, hiking. The landscape was breathtaking.
I went to the 2500-year-old Tiahuanaca. That was amazing.
Lake Titicaca was nice for more than its cute name. Gorgeous.
I went to the salt plains in the south of Bolivia, where there were boiling salt lakes. There was a hotel made almost entirely out of salt, which amazed me.
I really like the cactuses in Bolivia; they are cool.

I loved my trip to Bolivia! I'll see you when I visit the next nation.

    Bosnia & Herzegovina

Bosnia is a great underrated travel spot.
Getting outside the capital Sarajevo showed me some of the best countryside and views... I loved it.
We went to see an abandoned bobsled track that was used in the 1984 olympics. That was cool. Now it's an art gallery for graffiti artists. They paint the heck out of it, it's very amazing. The nature is very nice at the same time there.
I finished up by going to Sarajevo and checking out the old city. There was a walking tour as well, and I learned about the wartime stories that are behind Bosnia.

Bosnia and Herzegovina are amazingly beautiful, and underrated. Thanks for enjoying them with me.

@DudeAlex you've been traveling all over! Well done!

Ive had several last second cancellations lately but I'm glad I made it to Barbados! My guide kept going on and on about how theres more to do than the Beachs but the East and West were different enough I'd have been happy to bounce back and forth lol. I toured a garden and a 1600s jackaby something rather, but I couldnt wait to get back to the beaches the whole time lol.

I visited the Kalahari desert and the rest of Botswana. I saw hippos, elephants, hyenas, and lions, among many other animals. The plant life was amazing as well; I saw many wonderful flowers in the terrain.

    Botswana was wonderful.

My wife and I went to Brazil!

Porto Sequerro Bay is old but with modern services. I liked their hotel, at least the one I stayed in. There's a little bit of an inland flow from the ocean, which is like a separate pool, that we really enjoyed.

We had to go to Copa Cabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. It's so famous, and it is just as nice as people say it is, albeit crowded if you go at the wrong time.

We visited an archipelago in Pernambuca. It has the best diving spots in the country. We did a little bit of diving and saw some wonderful fishes as well as some weird objects on the floor.

The rios (rivers) of Brazil are amazing, and we went to a couple. We saw some very nice falls and rapids, though we did not kayak on them. Of course we got into a boat on the Amazon. How could we skip this famous river?

We came back from our long trip full of wonder and awe, and we had relaxed thoroughly for several days. I did not mention how much lounging and relaxing we did, but it was really the main point of the trip so yeah. (Plus the sex was the best with me free of PM.)

    Have a great one!

P.S. I know that this thread is not getting much life, but maybe it will revive a little bit. I'll keep posting, as I just enjoy it.

    I went to Brunei.

I saw the Royal Regalia Museum, where all the gifts to the Sultans are on display.

The clock tower built in the 1950s is cool.

Brunei gained its independence from Britain around 1984. It was very cool to read about it and look at the display about it.

There is the largest water village in the world. Very nice.

I loved watching the monkeys in the trees too.

Thanks for letting me share about Brunei today.

    Bulgaria!

I went to the caves called the God's Eyes. Those are awesome.

Then I saw the Madara Horsemen, which is a life-sized sculpture from ancient times. Amazing!

Tatul was a shrine for animal sacrifice, but now is just a very cool place to visit.

The Magurata Cave has some wonderful ancient graffiti.

Raisko Praskalo waterfall is super-tall and incredible.

Thanks for letting me share about Bulgaria. I enjoyed it very much.
