    Hi,

    Backstory:
I've watched porn actively for about 15 years of my life.

Right now Im trying to be without PM. Been off from porn now 253 days, but at some point I realised that I was kind of lying to myself and still looking at sexy girls around social media, and also fantasizing about sex scenes when masturbating. So I decided to stop using social media for good, and also stopped masturbating, and now I havent masturbated for 36 days. Before that I had sex or masturbated very often, sometimes few times a day.

Now Im still having sex sometimes, but Ive noticed that if I dont ejaculate for over week, I start getting these burning sensations in my penis/prostate.

So my question is, does my body/penis get used to longer time between ejaculations ? And do you have any experience on how long this takes ?

  2. Why not ejaculate when having sex.
Semen retention makes little sense when you a partner.

First, good job on reflection, comprehension, and making a plan to adjust. Sexy images and fantasy while jerkin' it are just weaker versions of the drug. It's good that you reduced your intake, but weaning off completely is a different challenge.

I personally haven't noticed that particular symptom, but every body is different and I have a remarkable lack of self awareness anyway. I have noticed weird stuff going on, as my body struggles to adjust to a new normal.

Popular wisdom says men absolutely have to O every so often, otherwise they go insane on some level. Some minority groups insist O is the worst thing ever for men, for a variety of reasons, and it is entirely possible to get past that uncomfortable phase. All I know is, blue balls suck but if you hang in there, your brain does learn it doesn't need to produce semen at such an insane rate and that goes away. However, if it detects even a slight possibility you're going back to your old pattern of frequent ejaculation, the sore nutsack will return with a vengeance. I don't know if your burning sensations are related to that, but it's possible.

Hope you figure it out, but know you aren't going to die in the meantime. Best of luck

Well yeah. You shouldn't expect profound wisdom from a bunch of porn addicts. We're just doing the best we can, and given our demonstrated level of competence, our "best" isn't what you'd call "good."

@PM recovery guy, what you are describing could be blue balls, i dont know if you've heard about it, but its bascially caused by the arteries that carry blood to the male genitals to expand when you are aroused, increasing blood flow to this area. The bloodveins that usually take blood away from the genitals restrict, trapping blood there and can cause an erection or not, which creates discomfort in the area you described.
There are different remedies for blue balls and maybe you could try some of them out in order to see if they help. If they do not, maybe its something different, but i am not a doctor so i dont want to talk to much with only half the knowledge!

the remedies basically all try to get the blood away from your penis or the area. Therefore exercise could help, cold showers or stretching yourself for a couple of minutes...

Just my two cents, but as mentioned i am not docotr, but maybe you can rule something out with this way of experimenting! :)
