Mate, here's the point: alpha males have sex, and lots of it. Think Warren Beatty, Gene Simmons, Mick Jagger, Russell Brand, Wilt Chamberlain... and I'm not even considering porn actors and long-dead warlords (sorry, Genghis Khan!).

Semen retention is only useful as a way to train self-control. It is a means, not an end. Also, let's say things the way they are:

There is nothing magic in semen.

In fact, semen is cheap. That's why you have millions of sperms in your ejaculate. That's why roughly 1,500 sperms are generated every second. By contrast, women lose eggs every day (they die), and no new eggs are formed. Throughout their lifetime, only an estimated 400-500 are released and can be potentially fertilized.

If you have a partner, have sex with her. I can guarantee you, she won't respect you more for holding off.
If anything, she'll start wondering if you're into her at all, grow frustrated and in the end conclude that you're either impotent, asexual, or cheating on her with another woman.

If a life of celibacy is what you truly want for spiritual reasons, then you should either find an asexual partner, give up partnered life, or accept that she might satisfy her needs with someone else.
