I started NoFap in March 2020, because I PIED. I went cold turkey, avoided porn and masturbation.
Over a year later I got with a chick. She came over and I was hard off of her sitting on my lap. Stayed hard through getting head, and finished strong in the pussy. The sex felt amazing. I was able to go 2x more , with time in between.
I’ve been watching porn since 2000. Been PMOing since 2001. Nearly 20 years of PMO and failed relationships. Nofap corrected my ways. Sex is much better or this chick got some good pussy. Might be both.

    You really made my day.
I jus woke up. Am sitting here 1 year no porn and 7 months of no pmo, contemplating if I will ever recover. As I kept watching porn for 9 more years after getting pied and pe at the age of 21½ . If I damaged my brain to a point of no return. No libido, no erections. It's scary as fuck at times to think if my virility is compromised forever.
Seems we both started nofap at the same time. But you seemed to have a clean streak. I kept fumbling, watched porn in May couple times and replaced. But that was it with porn. It's out of the picture. Then fumbled with masturbation once or twice a month until Oct for next five months despite having pied. Thinking about it, I jus can't understand why I even wanted to masturbate having no libido and healthy erections. The way brain can be habituated and addicted.

that is an inspiring success story. I remember a while back on some thread some guy said it takes 2 months for every year you been PMO for to fully recover which pretty much disillusioned me. Thank God for your story

I am at a stage where am ready even for this. 2 or 3 years of sacrifice is better than lifelong misery.

Congrats man! Were you dating during the recovery period? Did you have any orgasm with a girl during this time?

You just gotta go cold turkey bro. It really works. I had those days where I thought it was pointless, but I refused to go back. Months went buy with no libido. Thought my sex drive was dead. Libido would flare up here and now, morning woods returned, but most of the time libido was dead.
My gears started turning again , the fire lit back up once I got with this chick. Sex definitely gave me a jump start. Your libido not dead bro, just dormant. Stop the porn and masturbation. I’m a true testimony bro, nearly 20 years of PMO and my mind fixed itself (still is repairing) after a years time.

i get straight to the point bro. No PMO for an entire year and I healed myself. I don’t even desire to look at porn anymore. It works bro. I’m 34 , been PMO since 15. It’s never too late bro.

2 months for every year?! That means it woulda took me at least 3 years to cure PIED.
I tell no lies bro. I had sex with this chick multiple times, no PIED. After release, it took an hour or two to get it up again, but once it was up, it stayed up, I promise you. I use to have PIED in the middle of sex prior to nofap. But not now.
Maybe my recovery time will improve later down the line.

For over a year I didn’t date. I was just recovering. However, I do know from past experience, that dating and mingling with woman can speed up your process bc your mind adapts to a real woman and not porn. However, the woman has to be understanding of your situation or else she’ll call you limp dick and find someone else (been there).
Also, I had no orgasm with a girl for over a year. Only wet dreams.

Thanks for the uplifting words bro. It sure does gives me motivation to keep trucking.
As I said, I am 7 months completely clean from porn and masturbation.
The first relapse was to porn in may. But never watched porn after that. It's been 372 days since I watched porn. And 217 days of no porn masturbation and orgasm.
But I should I have jus bite it and gone cold turkey. But it took few months to understand how my brain was rationalising or substituting the behaviours to get its hit.
But now it's one and done deal for me. Am jus gonna go till Dec of this year, which would mark 14 months PMO free. And then start dating and rewiring.
One question, when did you get pied bro?
I started pmo at 15 and acquired pied at 21.

I started watching Porn before I ever had sex. So I PIED with my first real gf at 19. I didn’t know it was PIED at the time. I over came it with her after a few tries, it’s like the brain gets use to real sex after a few attempts. But after we broke up , I went back to PMO, and the process repeated with each relationship after that. It’s embarrassing , but like I said , after doing nofap for over a year , I did not PIED with my new chick at all.

@Break every Chain - yes there are some triggers here which could have/should have been pointed out. BUT, most of the people on this forum are Porn or PMO addicts before they are sex addicts! Hence, the aspiration for many of us is to get back to a healthy, natural sex life, not a repetitive PMO life. The word idiot isn't a fair comment here, this post is inspiring in that there are times on the PMO / NoFap road where you wonder if things will really get better! And by better, I mean healthy libido, healthy sex life, no desire for PMO! The original poster seems to have achieved that. I hope the same for many of us with PMO addiction.

@Might_Stag_Beetle well done with your success bro! Long may it continue
