Yeah dude, 9 days is great man. I know it sucks to relapse...really I do its kind of the worst. But turn it into a challenge maybe. Next time just beat 9 days. Hit the panic button if your urging. If anything else works let me know. I need advice just as bad somedays.

9 days is actually really good if this is your first attempt, I'm on day 3 almost and you could feel that urge to put on the big nasties and go to town on the ding dong.

Gotta remind yourself that willpower > anything. As long as you have goals and a remind yourself the reason why you're doing it, it'll make it a bit easier on your mind. That being said, this is all a fight of willpower. If you're feeling tired and also have the urges, take a nap. If you can't workout or go for a run, take a cold shower.

I was interested in this, since 2012 but, never could make myself sustain for a longer period, and it has been 9 years, with no improvement yet.

    Welcome to the forums Vex!

First of all, 9 days is a huge achievement, especially if you are a newbie, make sure that if you struggle, you've got an entire forum with lots of advice and ideas to make your reboot longer and more efficient.
As a starter, you should learn on the why's of this addiction, I suggest reading 'Your Brain On Porn', watch videos about the topic, articles, this site's homepage has tons of info

Best of luck. Cut away porn forever!!

I don't want watch porn. It's mostly imagination of real people and masturbating.

Day 1, I had a slight urge. I manged it though. I've this strange habit of smelling one's own armpit and thinking that's the smell of my ex's, and that kind of turns me on. Although, over time, I've realized she was toxic. Couldn't get over her sexually.

9 days is good bro. Also I really liked this article on the website called: does a relapse erase your porn addiction recovery process.
Basically, a relapse is a full on return to your old PMO habits, giving up on the healing process. A slip-up is when you lose your streak, but don't give in an go on a binge afterwards. Calling it a slip-up can change your perspective. You made a mistake, that can happen during a recovery process. As long as you don't fully give in, you'll notice the slip-ups get less and less.

    Hope this helps ;)
