    Sorry about that, to specify, I am practicing semen retention along with No P. Also, thanks for not being a dick, there was another guy in this post who was being like that to me, and I won't tolerate it. But, for the majority, the overwhelming support from this forum is amazing, thank you man!

    I can relate what Modern is trying to convey. The practice mentioned by Modern, can be very helpful in accepting and honoring your sexual energy.

    But it comes with certain caveats which I'd like to share.


    While doing the practice, if you lose your awareness, or when you edge frantically like you do when consuming porn, (which is highly likely if you are getting back on the wagon after relapse), you will probably stress yourself because our addict neural pathway is accustomed to frantic edging so we tend to easily follow the cue....in which case, you are actually engaging in edging session, not the transmuting stage which modern is talking about, in which case, you will lose your energy and you may experience blue balls.

    You may hijack yourself into thinking that you are transmuting when in reality you are just edging...your addict brain may fool you into the trap.

    Incorrect practice will put your prostrate into pressure. If you keep repeating this, you will notice your precum turning more watery and dripping instead of the usual stickiness. This, in my opinion is not a good sign. A little amount of pre-cum is natural, but too much of it and watery precum is a red flag.

    Another sign which tells that you have done your practice wrong, is when your balls just hang out loose and limp after your practice.. like what happens after you relapse. This means that too much yang has accumulated and the body is in a state of imbalance...which is again undesirable.

    Another thing is, when you practice wrongly and edge, you get weak erections when you are with your partner...you will not have the natural strong erection you get from total abstinence. Instead when you are with partner, you might have to pump yourself to flare up your erection which can go soft later. Strong erections are the ones where you get hard without having to pump yourself hard. Incorrect practice can delay your recovery from ED.

    Edging can deplete your energy as opposed to conscious slow stimulation. But since we have years of mastery on frantic pumping, it will take effort and time to be unlearned.

    Just because you are horny doesn't mean you have to stimulate your penis...If you believe that you have to touch yourself to deal with urges justifying that you are only practicing tantra, you are likely to be trapped into another crap vortex...


    The solutions:



    HERE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE WHICH I LEARNED FROM YEARS OF PRACTICE AND OBSERVATION:

    Practice Big Draw before moving into the practice that Modern Mentioned.

    In order to successfully practice what Modern mentioned, we must first be familiar with channelizing energy throughout the microcosmic orbit. You must first experience the movement of energy from your balls to your crown through your concentration and awareness, before you practice the method Modern has mentioned.


    Only then can you really understand the practice. Big Draw involves sexual energy transmutation without you having to stimulate yourself, it strengthens awareness. Further, if you practice this diligently, you'll vitality will increase, your erections will become strong.

    In any case, after relapse, make sure you engage in practice after at least 45 days of total abstinence. Why? Two reasons.

    First, there is every chance that you may spiral back to porn or edging as you are still entangled in the dopamine trap post relapse...you need to give yourself a rest for a reasonable time to untangle yourself..

    Secondly, post relapse, your chi or energy takes atleast 3 weeks time to balance itself following the imbalance caused by relapse ( this is my observation). Give time to energize yourself. Trying to practice this immediately after relapse is like trying to drink water from an empty cup.


    The more time you keep the hand away from your penis, the more full the cup becomes and the more energy you'll have.

    Once you get the base correct, you can move to the practice as Modern mentioned.

    to don`t depend solely on sex to satisfy my sexual needs.

    I know i can't have sex every week for my entire life, so I M without P/SubP and without escaping.

    It's hard to disassociate M of P in the beggining. But once you do, you have a wonderfull tool to quit the addiction forever.

    I am also not religous, so to me M isn't a sin.

    I recommend practicing M without O, and I have a few videos for you if you want to check them out. Also, I was getting harassed by a guy in this post who said that M ing IS a sin. I reported him, tho, he even tried to get this post off, because he believes that saying that masturbation can be healthy will get people to relapse. I think the post is meant for the people who quit porn but choose to masturbate, not the people who are doing No PMO. Right?

    Sure, but from the introduction of OP's post it can also be seen as a suggestion to skip the non-PMO strategy (since it's so hard) and learn to masturbate in a healthy way instead. I like the idea of healthy masturbation, but I just don't have confidence that I would be able to handle it at this moment :)

  10. During my PMO days, I would normally masturbate about 15-20 times a day. Maybe masturbation can be healthy for some people, but definitely not for me haha.

    Yeah, and that's ok, I don't think everyone should fap, but suppressing that energy is just really unhealthy for some people.

    i do something like this once in awhile when on a big streak , i call it edging , i dont orgasm at all i stop when i get close, sometimes i reset my timer sometimes i dont, one benefit i see in it is when im intimate with a partner i practice a similar technique ,i do it without even thinking , the intimate moment lasts longer, i feel the longer i last with sex the next day i have high energy
