Hey so I downloaded a porn blocker this morning on my phone after I relapsed. But in the past whenever I had a porn blocker I would delete it once I got the urge to masturbate. I realize that they are almost all easy to uninstall. What are some ways you convince yourself not to delete it? Any help is useful thank you.

Before I started my first reboot, a girl actually tried to have sex with me. Let's just say her name is Alissa. At the time Alissa was a close friend, and we went home together after a night out. This was going to be my first time having sex. However, my brain was so hooked to porn and my PIED so bad that I could not get any sort of erection. Alissa and I were completely devastated. I thought I might be gay. She thought I didn't think she was pretty. It was a bad night for both of us. When Alissa started crying she made me leave, and when I got home I cried for hours as well. It was a really low point for me and pretty traumatic.

Months later, I began my first reboot. I installed porn blockers thinking they could help me in case I was entranced or could not contain myself. However, like you, I knew that almost all software had some backdoor or password to get around them. So, what do?

I decided to make the emergency password for shutting off the internet blocker "remember what happened with Alissa". Twice I felt the need to shut off the internet blockers, but just the thought of the password snapped me out of the trance I was in. I haven't needed to use internet blockers again, but I think those two instances really helped me in the fist stages of recovery.

If I were you, I would download software that can only be overridden with a password. Then make that password something traumatic that happened with you related to your porn addiction. Don't make it something that reminds you of the porn or your fetishes (like "remember the time you watched gay porn for 8 hours straight"), but some extreme consequence of your porn addiction (like "remember when you got fired from watching porn"). It helped me out, hope it helps you out.

I use Cold Turkey Pro, and it has worked wonders for me. It takes some time to set up and get used to, but it will completely lock you out of whatever you put in the blocker.

I am using "Lock me out" for my Android phone.
I let my gf and family set a password, and I can't even Uninstall it. As long as you know what you want to block and set it up, there is no going back unless someone puts in the password.

    Good luck

I have tried many free blockers, the one i'm using now hasn't failed me yet, it's called Blocker and an X for Android.

Download the app dns changing server this serves as a porn blocker to the main site.

If you use this into wifi you can have a pornblock site

This is safest DNS SERVER that you need because it helps to internet speed and anti virus.

  15. Ultimately it's up to you to not watch porn. A porn blocker to anyone born after the 1990's or a millennial, is simply a pebble we trip on the way to relapse. It's doesn't work. You will find a way to relapse.

Sorry, but I do have to humbly disagree.
When you acknowledge that urges will come, it can be very effective to have a system working in the background that helps to prevent slip ups when we are mentally weaker.

Not using Wifi and restricting my phone's access helped me personally quite a number of times to avoid a relapse.

And some of the Methods are almost bulletproof.
Try to watch porn if you don't have access to any browser, blocked every video and picture app and also blocked the access to the settings as well as the play store.
Once I locked my phone, there is no going back unless the time runs out for the duration I set my gf enters the code that only her and my family know.

Ofc it's a matter of willpower, but things like these can still help in a time of need.

I can even lock it once for 1 hour or 2. Usually it's better once the during urges fade away...
