    1. No More Mr. Nice Guy by Dr Robert Glover
I think I have recommended it a few times on this forum :)
    Others:
    2. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius or other books about stoicism
    3. Feel the fear and do it anyway by Susan Jeffers

But I was most influenced by a book that does not belong to the genre of self-improvement:
    4. Endurance by Alfred Lansing

    That's it from me :)

  4. You can condense all these bullet points down into a lack identity capital. The only way to discover who you are and what you want is to make a point to do it. That effort and the subsequent discoveries will cause all the problems you have listed here drop away. Make friends that support you in this effort. Pick people you are interested in, ask them questions, and then listen. Reciprocate by sharing a little bit about yourself. Socializing is like learning to read or riding a bike. At some point you cross a threshold where you forget what made it difficult in the first place.

The Power of Habit (Charles Druhigg) is one that often gets brought up on this board, and with good reason. There are many examples but the core philosophy can be applied to almost anything that one does habitually/addictively - and if youre on this board, you have an addictive personality.

  8. "The slight edge" is very good. Touches on habits etc.
