Celeb worship is so toxic and time-waisting!

Yeah I guess it's a business and more about people making money by cultivating 'celebrity news' so they want to report on celebrity's lives. Most of what they report on is so irrelevant and not important to anyone. I go to different websites and see on them news stories about celebrities and irrelevant stories about their lives or things they've said or done and I'm like 'who cares!'. None of these celebs are doing anything for us and all of those little details about their lives like who they broke up with, who they're dating, how they feel about whatever topic are not really relevant to us.

I've met some celebrities in my life by running into them while in a major city and it was like they were so normal, they're just a normal person and nothing special. They just like to perform in front of people but all of those details of their lives really are not important. Many of them are living fake or toxic lives too.

 

Deepfakes. Also the occasional papperazi that gets a topless shot of them with a telephoto lens.

 

It is porn of them. It's no less traumatizing than if some nude photos had been leaked, like what happened with Jennifer Lawrence. Knowing that thousands of men are jerking off to these things, whether fake or real, but be hard to bear. Sites like Reddit are starting to see this and have classified deepfakes as "involuntary pornography".

 

You're not wrong at all. For all my faults and pointless distractions I've succumbed to, this is not one of them. I don't think I've ever watched a single grammy or oscar or whatever....in fact I have no idea which is which for what.

If you step back away from popular music like Cardi B, Rihanna, most popular rap , heavy metal, and Lil Nas X, you’ll see how talentless most of them are and how demonic the messages are!

I’m not sure why they’re being promoted but positivity and real talent is no longer promoted in the music industry much. They’re mainstreaming demonic lyrics, violence, and so on. I’m not so sure why.

During Covid some months ago I put in my ear buds and tried to listen to some of the ‘popular’ music, I also got into listening to some rock. All popular and all demonic lyrics, I had to remove so much music from my queue and listen to religious music the day after, I felt gross!

 

Forget about her behavior, her voice is like nails down a chalkboard! Why are they promoting her as a ‘singer’ or ‘artist’? That’s the real question!

I was also watching a somehow popular rock artist who prefers to scream throughout his songs, is married to a woman but acts gay 99% of the time in interviews (talks about eating sh*t), and on stage brings up men on stage and constantly humping men on stage (most likely he’s living a double-life that’s unsafe health-wise for his wife). Also, the imagery in most of his videos are DEMONIC! Yet he’s popular.

I don’t get how such awful people with awful music are popular but they are! It’s hard not to get sucked into the whole celeb worship of people who are providing nothing really positive!

look at the recent death of Rapper DMX. On the day after he died, people were making videos for him and saying how great he was and they were playing his songs. I was shocked and disgusted because 99% of his songs are talking about violence and killing or shooting other people!

 

Thanks but no youtube for me, trying to stay off of YouTube as much as possible! I feel so bad for young people in this country who are wasting their time on celebrity culture! Believing everything celebrities do and say, super interested in their lives! It sucks that that’s promoted to young people! We should be focused on talent period not the lives of strangers! people are waisting so much time in their lives focusing on and discussing celebrities and it’s a shame!
