    Day 285 no PMO. Yesterday the kids and I had dinner with my dad. He doesn’t hear very well so it was a little frustrating for us both. After dinner the kids and I out out some Christmas decorations and put the lights on the tree. It was a very good night and no urge to use PMO even though my wife was out for the evening. Good day overall!

    Day 86! Wanted to do a dopamine detox today but postponed it to Monday as I remembered that this weekend is the reward for abstaining the whole month. I think doing such a thing would've decreased the self-confidence as it would've been the same scenario as making a bet with someone, and after winning the said bet, the loser of this bet starts backtracking on the promise, and the efforts of the winner are invalidated. I am productive today and do this Monday, where a coincidence made it be a day off.
    I did notice some change in me since in the face of an opportunity to party all night after the bars closed, I chose to go home to better use my resources instead of doing drugs and partying like a savage beast and feel useless today! Strenght is not doing the easy thing, but choosing the less easy thing!

    Day 1 post vasectomy
    I was afraid to do anything surrounding my crutch but I forget about it and did 2hrs of dancing. It seems I'm fine no pain it even help to reduce discomfort.

    Tomorrow I have a date with a girl to climb a mountain I think I'll do it. I'll feeo fine. Monday I'll do regular gym training but less weight.

    And sex well I'm not sure yet. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel better I read after 48hrs you can resume sexual activity.

    yeah, that´s precisely why you should strenght yourself first, before going into other forms of activities. self-discipline is super important to develop and consolidate. i´m also struggling with that, hence my recommendation :)

    Feeling a bit nervous today, mostly because i slipped again yesterday on alcohol and sweets so today i´m experiencing withdrawal symphoms more severely.

    on the good side, sexual desire is coming back and flatline is decreasing, so this is a good sign of recovery. i think this is mostly due to my consistent practice of cold showers and wim hof breathing, that helped raise dopamine a lot faster. usually my flatline lasts 1 month! :D

    thanks Wim Hof, you´re the man ;)

    Just moved to a new apartment in the suburbs to be closer to work but it's pretty far away from the city where I have all my friends, etc. It feels like quite the big change for me, and I feel uncomfortable and lonely somehow. I guess change is almost always uncomfortable, that is perhaps one of the reasons this journey of beating P addiction can be hard sometimes :)

    5th of cold showers, I'm showering about one minute when I get up in the morning. Because I've read that cold showers after workouts kinda stops muscle growth. I think showering when you wake up is good because in top of all the benefits, you start your morning more awake and alert.

    By the way if someone who does cold showers have a tip for me about them, I'd be happy to read it!

    I need to find a way to start from the beginning because I am lost.

    Bro I can certainly throw some cool, ice-cold ideas which will freeze you! :emoji_cloud_snow:

    1)I highly recommend getting some info about Wim Hof and his method (wouldn’t be surprised if you already did that but still worth mentioning).
    2)Good way to start cold adventure is to have first normal shower but finish with 30-60sec of coldest water you can get. Idea here is to have gradual cold exposure each time you shower instead of just once a while or risking permanent stopping-it’s very good routine, does not cost as much willpower and you will still get big chunk of benefits.
    2)Never do cold exposure immediately after training-wait at least 10mins after stretching or 20 in case of heavier/strength exercises.
    3)During cold shower you will get endorphin boost-you can kinda increase euphoria by deep breathing, laugh yoga style laughter and trying to sing songs which you can set before getting into shower. Memories of that repeatable euphoria at some point should make you even crave for cold shower. :D
    4)Set some favorite, energetic and if possible happy/funny song in a loop, it will make you distract a little mind from that first cold wave, help boost mood and give possibility to count time easier (counting secs is very inefficient compare to i.e. staying entire song-which you know lasts 2:45).
    5)Always start first from legs, then arms and as last part your remaining upper body and face, then switch focus between those.
    6)Listen to your body. Worth noting that if you get sick (should not get very often at some point, but still) it’s good to skip day or two or at least make water a little warmer.

    I want to finish ice cold with Wim Hof quote:
    “Fear does not go away by itself. You have to confront your fear, mold it, then learn to control it in it’s own irrational reality.”

    Then you need to start with the investigation to discover -'Who am I?' and 'Who are those other people I see in my life?', 'What's the purpose and meaning of my life?', 'What's the purpose and meaning of human life?'. This will be a good start in finding yourself, work on it diligently, ask google, ask people, think and meditate to discover the Truth.:)

    Mild urges to relapse this morning as I was lying in bed, probably the hardest I’ve had to combat during this reboot - I need to be careful to limit the amount of I spend with my own thoughts.

    Spent a lot of time around people today which is always the best way for me to reduce the urges I experience, just need to keep myself occupied and soon I’ll be at the Shire!
