Unfortunately addiction cares not for your religion, ethnicity, social class, sexual preferences, etc. Ask yourself why you want to stop. What's your main reason? Have you come up with a go-to plan when these urges arise? Call someone.. go and do some push ups and sit-ups, walk around the block, find your pet and spend time with him/her, journal thoughts.. so on

 

I suggest you hand-copy the Bible when you want to watch porn or beat the meat. I always hand-copy "heart sutra" when my sexual urge is high. And it calm me down very quickly. You can try this.

 

I am not a Christian. Recently i just opened the bible to look what words do i see. What i see is

So see, i get motivation from someone who i didn't believe. You are a christian so ask his guidance and you may find it.

When we quit PMO, we can't let our guard down, try to protect our thoughts, minds from exrotic things, such as TVs, news, pictures...
