    Remember -

    - Porn and masturbation have no advantages. They have only disadvantages.

    - You believe that they cure depression, stress, anxiety and boredom. However, they are the cause of these. The more you watch porn and/or do masturbation, the more addicted you become and the more you experience depression, stress, anxiety and boredom.

    - Porn and masturbation make you addicted to high dopamine release. Hence, you don't find interest in normal activities that release less dopamine. This reduces your productivity and increases your boredom and addiction.

    - Porn and masturbation do not give you pleasure. They make you more and more addicted. The primitive part of your brain misunderstands them as real sex and that's the cause of your addiction.

    - Whenever you feel you should peek or edge just once, it is your addiction speaking. You are stronger than your addiction.

    - Whenever you feel that you should quit later, it is your addiction trying to trap you. You are stronger than your addiction.

    - Whenever you feel a doubt whether you can quit or when you feel that it is difficult to quit, that doubt or feeling is of the addiction. You are stronger than your addiction.

    - You do not like porn and masturbation. Your addiction does. You are stronger than your addiction.

You can and will quit. The moment you deeply understand these facts and defeat your brainwashing, you are never going to watch porn or masturbate again. Your addiction is terrified of this reality but you are far stronger than your addiction.

Please read The SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION Way to Quit Porn and keep revising its notes to eliminate your brainwashing and to remove all your false beliefs.

    Such as?

  3. It's just an empty claim from someone who is very likely either obsessed with scientism, a loyalist of Garry Wilson, a sexual revolutionist or some combination of the aforementioned. Up until several decades ago, in many cases, masturbation was almost universally looked down upon by most everyone in the medical community. People can believe what they want but the truth is that medicine hasn't progressed nearly to the point at which we could ever realistically experience such a drastic shift in sentiment in such an incredibly short amount of time. And if it has, absolutely no relevant data and research has been provided to even suggest that MaSTuRbATioN iS hEaLThY is anything but an entirely unproven theory.

At some point, you have to ask yourself: who do I trust and believe?

So what's it gonna be? Samuel Auguste-Tissott, countless historical/religious figures and nearly every MD ever before the sexual revolution or Freud, Kinsey and their ilk?

    Reading is your friend.

11 years ago i googled ," is masturbation safe "..it said that it was safe and healthy..im paying the price even now..a curse on google and a curse on all these bogus doctors who keep preaching shit..
Our ancestors looked down upon masturbation , like it was weird and shameful for a man who had to get himself off by himself coz no woman would lay with him..amd it worked out fine for them...its only now that weve come to this age of SeXuAl liberation and what not that people are popularising porn as some sort of liberator ..and theres all sorts of issues like ED , insomnia and what not..

  7. No, it can't. Doctors, researchers and scientists of the past had NOTHING to gain for their hard and honest work. The entire basis for what's supposedly known today about masturbation is a direct result of the influence of perverts and drug fiends like Freud, Kinsey and the like and it's all perpetuated by indoctrinated modern MDs (most of whom are "specialists" in unrelated fields) and clueless "sexologists." These people have a handful of tired, go-to defenses – none overused more than anti-religion rhetoric that I'm confident many people around these NoFap parts, frankly, are sick and tired of hearing and reading about because they know, through their own life experiences and ill health, that there is a lot more to this.

You can float your biased, WebMD-esque, establishment-approved bullshit all you want; none of it is based in reality in any way whatsoever.

  8. Yes, there are two sides to the story.
Let's keep in mind that what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another person.
For me, I think it's better not to masturbate, but that is simply my personal situation.
Having sex with another person can actually be a form of masturbation, if the other person is simply being used like a tool for selfish pleasure.
It's not black and white, and it's a good debate.

The thing is masturbation is like weed..so called doctors recommend weed in little quantities for mental health improvement and relaxation but it mostly ends up being a hardcore addiction..
Masturbation is something which plays with a mans will , it tempts him like a drug does , and the result is involuntary excess of the same..and thus M is evil and addictive..the only way a mans supposed to release is through a woman...i was given hands to work and lift...men were given women amd vice versa coz they were meant to be..let it remain as it is and stay away from all temptation whatsoever..

  10. You don't know shit about me so it might be better for you not to assume anything. You already look brilliant enough in this thread. Happy shilling.

    Thank you for sharing.

The link you provided sends me directly to the prostate cancer section so I will start with this:

From the article: "Researchers speculate that the reduced risk was because frequent ejaculation may prevent the build-up of cancer-causing agents in the prostate gland."

What does that tell us? That masturbation is indirectly linked to prostate cancer because of ejaculation. Masturbation is not the only means of ejaculation. So the same argument can be made about sex.

But still, that hardly matters when the same article you shared mentions that "in contrast, a 2008 study found that frequent sexual activity during a man’s 20s and 30s increased his risk of prostate cancer, especially if he masturbated regularly."

    Conclusion? Unsettled.

The issue with this section is that there is not one link to refer the reader to studies. Maybe because there isn't any?

But even though the case is closed due to the lack of evidence, I would like to comment on each alleged benefit:

    • Stress is a very common issue nowadays and even if masturbation does help with it temporarily, there are countless other ways to reach the same result; do psychologists recommend this as the ultimate remedy, if ever?

    • Same for tension

    • Due to the lack of details here, I will assume that sleep quality is related to stress and tension

    • The only way I can imagine that masturbation helps with concentration is when you can't get your mind off sex; fortunately, ejaculating isn't the only solution here

    • If anything, masturbation makes one feel tired and depressed after a while. But even if a masturbator's mood is good, what studies have been done to trace that back to masturbation? Probably none because it's theoretically impossible.

    • Helping with menstrual cramps? That's indeed a new one for me and I would like someone to do a study on this

    • How would masturbation alleviate pain? Pain caused by blue balls maybe.

    • That would only make sense for a man who can't keep it up (literally) during intercourse because he has desensitized his penis and dopamine receptors through masturbating. In this case, masturbating would help him get it up so he can have intercourse. An ironic vicious cycle.

  12. It's not a moral issue, it's a health issue.
Good and evil are flip sides of the same coin, and are subjective.
We need to get away from the shame factor, leave the whole shame and guilt trip bullshit in the churches.....
Sexual health is exactly about that, health.
I fail and relapse like many on this forum, but the answer is not to beat yourself up over relapsing and wallow in shame that you've done something "evil", no, the answer is to learn from your slip, identify what caused the slip, get up with confidence and keep going!

  13. Sorry your thread was hijacked buddy, but you opened a good topic to discuss, namely masturbation. By the way, I agree with you, but relapses happen to most of us, so we have to be careful that we don't condemn ourselves...

And its this school of thinking of yours that many people accept and keep relapsing and getting off the hook , evading accountability..its definitely about health , but the argument you make is like youre saying a lung cancer patient may smoke again and again but keep evading the accountability and responsibility just by saying that next door lung cancer patient BOB also smokes and that from now on hes commited to not smoking again...
Dont you understand that life is short and one if not all need to get out of this vicious PMO rut as soon as possible...its because of the fact that M has such a soft place in your heart and mind that on the outside you wanna quit P but on the inside , subconsciously you always keep it as an option , just cause you're ready to give yourself umpteen number of chances ..this is why i say M is evil coz it manipulates you at a subconscious level..you're still pro P, even tho you wanna quit it you cant quit it for good because you dont realise the evil in it..coz you think M is something safe and helthy..
