  1. Getting closer to that 90 day mark and feeling increasingly disconnected from my old habits, really nice feeling.

    grinding at my work while being sick, lots of hard times, today is my first day off since the last 2 weeks ,at this point I feel my sexual drive has disappeared. but my productivity in general is getting higher, i think this is what man is created for.
     
  3. Going through a rough patch at the moment, hard to get started on a streak. But I think this weekend will get me started. Will be spending time with extended family so I wont have any time to myself.

    glad you're not quitting, but there's something so important I think we all have to focus on, and that is taking care of ourselves, For me I've been lately neglecting my feelings and my body lately and for that I started getting craving to PMO again, so I'm back again to take care of myself and how I feel first and then taking care of others.
     
  5. I agree with you, and judging by your counter I believe you have a better awareness of your own needs, than I have of mine. I have a major problem with taking care of myself. It's the reason I'm in counselling! Only one session done so far, that was a getting to know you type thing so we haven't really got into it yet.

    Had a relapse with alcohol, porn and masturbation. Please reset my counter.
    I've had a good day, after struggling with shame and a hangover this morning. I'm hopeful that I've gained some valuable insights that will support me going forward.

    I don't really feel shame anymore. Perhaps if things got bad the shame would come back. More so, I recognize that I am a better person without pm in the same way that I'm better when I eat better. I am calmer, more confident, and value the things that are truly important (my family and myself).
     
  12. Thank you all so much, i have got so much from the support here. It is so good to feel back in control, I am making sure to remind myself how I felt before as a warning to myself. Reading of others successes and how they overcome disabling struggles is inspirational.

    Got back on the meditation wagon this morning and it felt good. I like the following method that was taught to me: ~10 minutes meditation, then read a little philosophy (I've heard many read the bible, I prefer stoicism), then a few minutes of journaling. First clear the mind, then write down whatever is left to help organize my thoughts.
     
  19. Almost to the two week mark, that's exciting. Soon I'll be taking a summer class, which should consume the bulk of my days until it's over. Probably won't have a nanosecond to think of P&M then; well hopefully.

    Man I forgot my password. I thought I’d do as well on my own… NOPE. One mistake bleeds into the next.

    Sick of it. It’s not tough to stop. I don’t even like PM. WTF is wrong? IDK but I’m going to get going again for real.
