    Checking In. Day 73.

    Workout Day - 59.

Yesterday was a very clean day for me. Ignoring urges is the key. Only we give green signal to that activity. We also already know when we are about to lose that is the time when we can get stronger. Denying to lose.

Made a very interesting discovery last night. After resetting, I was feeling like crap, and actually on the verge of becoming sick. (When I try and lose weight, I go hard, and clearly my body was not happy with how hard I was going) Anyways, I decided that this weakness/sickness I was feeling had contributed to the reset, so I decided to try and correct it a bit by having a huge order of Uber Eats... burger, fried chicken, and so on. Just so I would stop feeling so wasted.

I got through most of it, and felt a fair bit better in terms of feeling hungry/wasted. However, less than an hour after I stopped eating, my urges to Fap went from 0 to 10 in incredibly rapid time, and I reset again. Of course, it was easier to reset after already doing it once that day... but having urges that strong come out of nowhere, mere hours after the last reset, was basically impossible to happen naturally. After all, when I reset after 60 days, it took another week before any urges showed up, and then they were minor.

Looking at the situation now, it seems likely that I was suffering from the chaser effect... but not from the earlier reset. It was a chaser effect caused by eating very fatty/processed food. I can't say for sure what was in the food that caused it, but I'm guessing the fact that it was "fast food" and very unhealthy, and that I had so much of it, probably sent my dopamine soaring. It's not something I would have noticed 3 months ago, as my dopamine was bouncing all over the place due to resets, but after 60 days of NoFap, my dopamine was (and still is) in a much more stable, flat state... which means a meal of burger and fried chicken is like throwing a boulder into a calm, still lake.

The first reset was also triggered by certain snacks... snacks which I used to eat a lot of in the past, but haven't eaten at all for the past month, until yesterday. Again, an attempt to not feel so weak from hunger, I think ended up poking my dopamine enough to send me over the edge.

I have had other delicious foods this past month as well, but all were when I was out with other people, which probably dampened the impact a lot. (And the other foods were more from reputable restaurants, not "fast food"/"processed snacks" and so forth)

This does make me feel better, as it puts the streak back into my control a lot more. :D Also gives me another reason to stay away from fast food, which is good. :D

For interest, these are the chips that sent me on the first reset. I don't think there's anything special about them, it was more the fact that they are delicious, and I hadn't had them for over a month, so when I had some, then I had more, then I had to have a few more, and so on, continually pushing the dopamine up and up. (Could also have been the sugar actually, now I look it is quite high in those chips. :p)

TLDR: If you want a long streak, avoid fast food/comfort foods, eat healthy.

Checking in. Urges starting to come back, but minimal - for now. Had a good weekend, fair amount of house projects. In my deep PMO time I never wanted to do work on the house, it was almost a physical reaction at the thought of it. Saturday just did the work, no psychic aversion. Sunday played tennis and did some yoga, but no meditation. Meditated this morning and had a decently productive work day. I need to be more regular in terms of exercise/workout. Gym tomorrow at 8am, so that's something.

    Since 1/17:
    3 days - workouts
    5 days - meditation

Checking In. Day 18. - Feeling stable

Still working on my project which gives me more joy and enthusiasm that overdrives any urge to PMO.
The reason also for my project is I am creating a course for my church community. Its all about creating awareness and safe spaces for in an online digital world, and strategies to address the issues that especially come with pornography. I'm packing into to it everything I wished I'd heard 20 years ago to avoid this trap, and I'm excited its all coming together.

Reset again this morning. Definitely have to put some focus back into NoFap... hopefully after some effort (and avoiding triggers/bad food) I can get back to the easy place I was beforehand.

PMO kills motivation. Even psub , triggers can do the same. Don't excuse yourself for peeking.

The world has become hypersexual. There is sexual content everywhere. We need to understand these are just illusions. It will keep you away from real life.

    Checking In. Day 75.

    Workout Day - 61.

This Sunday I bought myself a set of resistance band for workout. Now I am learning various resistance band exercises using Youtube videos. I hope this will give me some muscles in upcoming months. My body feels considerably stronger than 70 days ago. Belly looks flat now, but still there is a little love handle on the front side which I need to lose. My dream is to see some abs one day.

I have found that even a peek at sexual content can damage your motivation considerably if not fully. This also include motivation to be on NoFap streak itself. I am also noticing that my music listening experience again not that good, I suspect the same reason. May be I have hindered the process of brain recovery in some way. I want to be committed to go cleanest without even watching at arousing stuff that is when recovery shows some fruits.

Good luck to all of you guys! Keep at it.
