Hi guys, I'm on day 78 of the reboot. I'm usually healthy and I haven't tripped even once! Doing the reboot properly, tonight for the first time after 78 days I have a severe sleep problem! I can not fall asleep ! I am writing this to you at 2:30 in the morning in my country, I went for a run today and exercised my body and until now in all the days I have not experienced anything like this.. I am really scared, is this normal? I just can't fall asleep at all! I feel tired but as if my brain is preventing me from falling asleep! Is this normal?!

It sounds like some kind of withdrawal symptoms, and I have experienced this. It would return to normal usually within a few days (up to a few weeks sometimes). Avoid overexertion and take care of yourself. I wish you will feel better soon!

But does it make sense that it hasn't happened to me until now? And only now on day 78 is this happening?

From what I've heard, withdrawal symptoms can occur well beyond the 90-day mark, and can happen more than once.

Have you had caffeine? It stays in the body for at least 6 hours.

    Hi friend,

I've also suffered a lot with sleep throughout this addiction, and especially during recovery periods. If this is indeed a withdrawal symptom for you (and it's highly likely that it is), in some sense, there's not much you can do except being patient and understanding that it's a symptom that will eventually pass.

Having said that, you can help the physiology of your body by sticking to some healthy routines. You can google many things that you can do to improve sleep. From my experience, having a systematic sleep/wake schedule, being physically active throughout the day (e.g. with exercise), and avoiding screens 1-2 hours before bedtime, have the most profound effect on sleep health. Also, I've recently come to appreciate that getting enough sunlight during the day (ideally soon after you wake up, for 15-20 minutes at least) has a tremendous effect on sleep initiation. This is one of the main mechanisms our bodies know when we should be wakeful and when we should get sleep, given that nowadays we can spend all day inside our homes with artificial lights, fucking up our biological clocks. Finally, caffeine, alcohol and other drugs can also have detrimental effects on sleep.

Essentially, it boils down to fixing your circadian rhythms and being physically tired enough, to help your body initiate sleep. Although I don't know about your daily routines, I would suggest you try these 3 protocols for 5 days, and see what happens.

    Hope this helps.

Hello friend. I experience this every once in a while. Yesteday, for exampe, I went for a run, then I worked out, then I went to buy groceries(on foot, no car), then I cleaned my appartement, I cleaned my appartment, I cooked and I went for a walk. I had 4 and a half hours of sleep after all these activities, and today I can still work out and function. I have no idea what is going on in my body, but I have so much energy that it is insane. Also I take around 3-5 grams of bee bread and I eat only plant food(I cook all of it, and it is all whole foods). I truly have no idea what is going on. I woke up at 2:30 in the morning with insane energy in me, I tried to go back to bed, but I couldn't. Just go with it untill your body adjusts to the new energy intake. It has been 6 years now sine I have been off porn, and almost 7 months now that I stay away from self mutulation(that is what masturbation is, and it is a sin). Truly, I had no idea that a man can have so much power within him. Make sure you eat enough calories, drink clean water, stay away from alcohol, drugs and cigarettes, and of course, save your seed for you wife. Connected to God, He will guide you. Our seed is our lifeforce give by us by God. May Jesus bless you brother.
