Dreaming about looking for porn (facepalm)

Have any of you ever experienced this? That has happened to me sometimes, especially on days in wich I spend hours looking for new porn, and in my dream I find the "golden one", that is sad AF. I've just PMO'ed one time this week( I don't want to completely remove the PMO just yet, so so far it's been a good advance for me) and last night I dreamt about having sex with a person instead of MO. Can that be considered as a good change?

You are probably thinking of porn every minute
if you keep thinking about 1 thing you will dream of it
thats how it is for me.

since this is about dreams i will share one i had few weeks ago.

i was sitting on a couch whith 2people next to me 1 female 1 male
they started to undress each other and make love,
while i was sitting there masturbating in front of them.
after a while i asked the girl if i could do it with her
she said no but i kept on asking and begging
just once let me please go inside you
then they started to push me away while they were fucking

i had this dream probably because i was only thinking about losing my "virginity" and wanted to feel it just once.

That makes sense. But at least you had a dream with actual people, not with a computer. By the way how did you feel once you woke up? With my last dream with a "real person"(not 100% because is just a fantasy) I felt a lil' bit better

Specific graphic details are probably not that helpful guys. People who are trying to overcome PMO are reading your posts. Lets be sensitive to each other. Stay strong and I wish all much success.

That's good. At least that gave you some perspective, thanks foe sharing

I'm sorry, I thought about that but I couldn`t find the way to properly convey the idea of having S with someone on a dream. Would you be so kind to tell me a good way to it? I'll truly appreciate it

No problem brother. I would have said, I had a sexual dream and left it there. I'm not trying to be an asshole. Lot of us have sensitive triggers that could lead to a relapse. I appreciate your willingness to be sensitive. I wish you all success brother.

I had some porn dreams like ten days ago. I can think of three reasons.

    1. Reading, posting, and thinking too much about NoFap is like playing a game of "Don't think about a polar bear." Porn took up a portion of your day, so don't just make this about not using porn but rather what you can do with those hours.
    2. Changing before-bed routine often leads to dreams, in my experience.
    3. Your addicted brain expects a feed of sexual images and will produce them itself if it doesn't get its supply.

The third reason makes a lot of sense to me, have you experienced a similar case?

Yep, I included all three reasons because they all might have contributed to it in some way. Reason 1 is called "ironic process theory" in psychology. Consciously trying not to think about something will ironically result in thinking about it. Reason 3 is more like withdrawal. Many people report temporary negative/stressful effects.
