I'm new to this website, and right now I'm exploring all the content and getting to know how it works. I'm glad there is a community here that recognizes the damaging effects of PMO in our lives. I'm so sick of wasting my life away in front of a computer with my pants pulled down and my dignity and manhood along with it. I know how different my life can be without PMO. How much more enhanced it is when I'm not a slave to porn and masturbating to it. I've went 35 days without PMOing and those were probably the most fulfilled 35 days I can ever remember living in my life (I'm 34). I want to far exceed that. I want to see what's on the other side of PMO, to live to my fullest potential, and get the most out of life. I know I can''t do it alone. That's why I'm glad I found this community. I want to reach out to you guys when I find myself ultra tempted to relapse. So that you guys can help me get to where I want to be. Thrive on fellow fapstronauts!

Hey man, I'm new here too and I need to get over this as well. I'm 37 and just want to get my self respect back. I used to have morals and boundaries. PMO has eaten away at all that. Today is day 1 for me.

Welcome to both of you. Keep coming back. Getting involved, and interacting, will help a lot.

Don't be afraid to ask for help, either. We're all here for the same reason.

Well bro let this day 1 for you be a new beginning to a more fulfilled and purpose driven life. That life can never be achieved if we continue to PMO. They say the definition of insanity is repeating the same actions over and over and expecting different results. Lets put away insanity and grasp the reality of the possibility to be truly happy and fulfilled, a life without porn.

The benefits of quitting are so amazing! I have made it 35 days without PMO and I was a completely different person than I am when I give in to my self-seeking pleasures of PMO. I was more focused, had more energy, more confidence, more attraction from women, more attraction to women, more of a man than I've ever been, more in tuned with God, more hunger for life and interactions with real people, more friends, more social, oh my gosh man just more of a lot of things I can list that I have benefited from a life apart from PMO.

It's a great journey and it really is fun to reap the benefits of it. I wish you the best and bro just remember that you have people here to help you on this endeavor to be a better you than you ever thought possible. Iron sharpens iron. God bless man, and strive on!

You are right Pete. A few years ago I went a long while without P, but got triggered one day and it was over. I didn't have any support group or anyone to talk to about it so I think things can be different now that I do.

this website is a great tool we could use to get us out of some tough times. Whenever you are feeling really tempted to relapse, log on to the website and read some success stories, or hit the panic button, or reach out to someone. Rationalization to fap is the enemy, don't give ear to that kind of thinking. I hope when those tough dayscome I'll take my own advice.
