woodworking as a positive way to escape reality

    So, im concidering getting into woodworking as a replacement for the time i usually spend on porn. My plan is to learn and practice for the next three years then open up a business building kitchen cabinets furniture and cat trees..(easy to build and people are nuts about cats) any advice?

    Honestly I know Jack-shit about woodwork. But that is a great and manly activity. It's going to keep you busy. And also you'll look badass as hell when you say this at a party with a beer in your hand: "Yeah baby, that bed? I did it with these bad boys".

    Oh definately starting small i wouldnt dare try to put my name on so so quality right now im just repairing some existing cabinets and studying how theyre made

    Great idea! I would like to do this myself, but since I don't have a permanent location at the moment, my construction-style hobbies are kind of limited. Take advantage of it!
