No need to be afraid Nithin, adrenal fatigue is very common, estimated to be 66% of the population! However, nervous breakdown is a non-clinical term - a layman's term really. Have you been diagnosed with a mental disorder @Nithin Adarsh?

i've had a nervous breakdown. what helped me was going to another place. my company sent me to some site for work and that helped a lot. i was at a place where i had no friends no colleagues i knew before the nervous breakdown.
    what helped me:
    crying...i'd cry almost every night
go for walks to the beach, i'd ride the bicycle every sunday evening to beach. physical exercise helps.
not watching tv sitcoms or movies.(i would compare lives)
watching animal planet n discovery helped
more fruits instead of beverages or spicy food
i joined an online support group where i vented out. venting helps a lot.

    warning may trigger

i would get scared all the time. if any colleague raised his/her voice at me, i'd start shivering n feel guilty. also i'd cry n then laugh suddenly. mood swings would come. once i was walking on office corridor n laughing for no reason when a colleague why i am so happy. it was very embarrassing.

i couldnt even type properly. like my fingers would shiver n i couldnt focus on the task ahead of me. i wasnt in the present tense. once i had to put ketchup on bread n i lifted the water bottle.

it was scary. n it took more than a few months to recover. if u can take professional help then i strongly suggest. i regret not going.
an online support group for mental health can help. it's anonymous and it helped me a lot.
also if you can go to a vacation go for it. not some place where u'd have fun but at a place where there'd be peace.
like not las vegas like stuff but more like a place where there are trees, calmness, mountains or something like that.

physical exercise also helps. i forced myself to go to gym.

I think the symptoms could be neurasthenia!
