About this group, I remember when I started NoFap, I had wet dreams, I thought it was reality and I actually woke up not from the orgasm, but because I was SOOO pissed off at myself to have to reset my counter. It was a dream so it of course didn't counted, but long story short, I so much couldn't stand having to quit this group, it reinforce even more my desire to be porn and masturbation free.
I believe I have started to have a military approach to everything since I started NoFap, especially with the use of my routine. I also believe that very strictly sticking to this daily schedule is the most part of my success. When I was in Paris for holidays, as I lived with my famiy I couldn't follow my routine and I was horribly depressed. I came back two days ago and I already feel happier than I've never been.

Heyo. This is Quebadour here, and I am here for a reason. I have previously completed two resets in my life, one at 110 days, the other at 90, both for very different reasons. I have a new reason this time around too. It is my goal, so cut things out of my life that leave me more self absorbed than is reasonable. I want to learn to maintain my relationships and perhaps overcome by default indifference to them.

That being said, My goal with this particular group is to be as encouraging as possible. No longer focusing on myself, because as this group says, relapse is not an option. Rather I would strengthen those around me, and feed off of the energy of the common goal, and success that we are here to experience.

Each day is a choice, and a struggle. But it is a struggle that can be won.

 

I would like to join this group because I think a more structured group of guys would be good for me. the more I know people that people will know when I fail, the more likely I will stay away from it. that being said I am really new to this site and I hope to do well on my road to victory over PMO but I don't expect to be perfect on my first try (I will try my best but I might fail) should I still join or should I just do the regular forum stuff?

 

I would like to join. I'm committed to getting PMO out of my life entirely. Even though it's only been just over 5 days since I last viewed sexual images, I don't consider PMO an option in my life anymore. I've started taking cold showers exclusively, meditating, getting back into kettlebell excercising. I use the elastic band trick to ward off sexual thoughts. My quitting PMO is motivated by a desire for self-mastery not by feelings of guilt and shame or for the sake of a deity. If you accept me into your group, fine. If not, that will have no impact on my desire to attain self-mastery.

Hi! I believe we all have different reasons for quitting PMO: no reason is better than the other. I believe in God, but I'm not doing this because of guilt/shame, neither for religious reasons in general. I'm doing this to achieve freedom and to live a better life. Actually, I believe guilt makes the recovery process harder -or even impossible- I think it's better to see the problem of PMO from the perspective of responsability for our own actions and the type of life that we want to live.
As far as I'm concerned, welcome to the group.
