So It's almost 7pm, I am studying at home, but I wanted to write something... and this came to my mind.
Something I've noticed while dealing with my addiction is that posts we think are normal on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, or tweets or whatever trigger my urge to MO. I think it's important, or even necessary to limit what your eyes are seeing. The eyes are the doors to our mind, and our brain is the biggest and most important sexual organ. So I started by deleting some girls on my social networks who keep posting those sexy pics, I'm also trying to limit my time on social networks and on the internet in general and rather using it for other stuff, more important stuff. I really need to find ways to hold on temptation and I've got to help my self. Just wanted to share that, maybe you guys do experience something similar, if you do I invite you all to share your experiences and help each other.
    Anyways
    Good evening

I agree 100 percent. A lot of these social media sites are on the cusp of being soft P, even more sometimes. I've had a number of relapses that derived from those sites. I blocked them off my phone.

  4. I too, have had to delete Instagram off my phone because it would trigger a relapse.Instagram is filled with porn sub pictures of women. All they do is take pics of their bodies and they think that they are models. They are not.As far as I am concerned I think some of them are attention whores. The funny thing is that they get all butt-hurt when guys send them rude messages.I have lost so many streaks because I was just casually going on that site. They tempt us addicts so much that it is not even funny.

Yes, it's terrible the way not only us men but themselves have created a reality in which likes are preferred over love and self respect

@Nicholas.med, social media is also one thing we shouldn't ignore, sincerely social media addiction is also a very big problem, lots of people suffer from today...
I wrote an article something's last month, titled "The Social Media Slave" here's a part of it....
A tip from the Social media Slave ...
    When I see ladies
I mean ladies old enough to be mothers in their matrimonial homes, posting photos of themselves on social media, tongues out and mouth twisted to one conner like babies trying to leak off Cather from their noses using their tongues...
It baffles me and keeps me wondering to myself and asking questions like
    Why all this ?
Is it just for the likes and thumbs up
    What for ?
Is it that getting a husband has become an essential commodity that you have to flaunt your nudity on social media, to get one for yourself? Even if it has gotten to that which man will settle for a woman that has no sense of shame...? Unless he's also afflicted with same diseases
Allah says: (Q24:3) Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden...
Or is that you being paid for your flaunting?
What message are you trying to pass to the general public ?
    Who you trying to impress?
Is it to please same people who calls you a prostitute and say to themselves "that girl must be good in bed" ?
The most annoying part of this all...Muslim sisters are not excluded, as a matter of fact its now a trending path, that if you don't indulge in, you're not inform, you yet to fit in...
The ends time is fast approaching wallah the trace of shame has gone instinct....
The prophet Muhammadﷺ says: Emaan (faith) is made up of sixty parts and (hawa) shyness a is part of faith..
He ﷺ still says: And if you have no shame then do what you like...
By Allah you are responsible for what you give the brothers to gaze at.....
Be not among those who cause fitnah and corruption on earth but among the propagators of this Deen with your actions....for indeed what you do not have in your heart wil never reflect your actions.
May Allah Almighty rectify our affairs...

When we fap to their pics and then feel bad about it, it's our problem. And they don't know that, they just wanna attention.

But @Nicholas.med I like that you're consequent and "deleted" those girls. That's not only helping but also teaching them that it's not working. I would feel like Yes, it's easy for you to arouse me with your pics but that doesn't mean this behavior makes you attractive to me. Cut that shit out, it's too much!

    TRIGGER WARNING

You know, this reminds me of something I did awhile ago. There is actually a lot of pornographic material on Youtube. A lot of it doesn't require an account and for the ones that do there is a way around it if you use a third parth youtube browser. I was using one of those for a music playlist, and I started using it for relapses. I got SICK of it and I decided to delete it alongside the main youtube application and abandon my account.

    Thank you @Owari
YouTube brings a lot of dangerous material, I've found things that are more hard to fight there, and it's easrier to relapse that way cuz you're not thinking that by only browsing YouTube or Instagram you are going to end up with P/O/M

@Jodo Kus You're damm right, It's up to us whether to ignore it or give it importance, if we didn't give that importance to what they're doing women wouldn't sell their images like that.
I know It's really attractive for us, but WE CAN CONTROL OURSELVES
    Keep strong

I agree. I'm sure most people don't excpet to come across pornography or something in like Youtube or Instagram or Twitter or whatever. In fact, Youtube is what started my PMO addiction. I remember it specifically, I don't know how I got there but I never thought that something like that would happen. In general I just try to avoid youtube entirely, it's too much temptation and I've relapsed too many times because of it.

On a side note I might make a thread about youtube specifically.

    @The StrivingMuslim
Thank you for sharing, I just have to say that you're right. And I feel sorry that even Muslim women are losing their principles. But I believe that the moment we start loving and respecting those beautiful beings, things are going to change.
Although I'm glad there's so many men and women that want to change the way we think and act.
    Keep strong man

Totally agree with that as I have trolled you tube for hours looking for foreign erotic movies which there is hundreds and I too was becoming very frustrated and decided it was very dangerous so have gone cold turkey from you tube and 6 days in and feeling confident

  18. I have always found that there is always a way to get past any P-filter. While P-filters are helpful in slowing you down, they cannot stop the inevitability of finding P, somewhere, somehow. It's really about how you deal with P that matters.

That's exactly what I used! A ton of foreign erotic movies (to me they're just porn undercover) were used for relapses. It was horrible, thankfully both of us are off it. This is my third day and I'm feeling alot better with a potential trigger removed.
I agree with this. On the technical side, I've noticed that some blockers only block sites from specific countries. At school there is a blocker for some game sites, but I accesed foreign sites of the same genre and got around it. Like you said, the goal is to slow me down but there will be ways of getting to porn, sadly :(
