Shaving my Pubes

Don't shave them. Just trim them. That's my advice.

 

Just trim them the just take a razor and shave em. I shave my balls too lol.

I do it as punishment if i relapse. I personally think pub hair is power. Of course if a lady friend is coming over shave it!

 

"They look disgusting". How can something entirely natural i.e. pubic hair look disgusting? Do you realise that the idea that pubic hair is disgusting was perpetuated by companies with shaving products looking to expand their business beyond just men's facial hair? This was then perpetuated by porn web sites. Almost all male porn stars are either bald down below or have their pubes heavily trimmed. This is the porn-led fashion which has influenced you. Btw, pubic hairs don't get in your way when you clean your penis. You are just telling yourself that in order to conform to what you see when porn stars are performing for you. Do not let this be another influence of porn in your life. Pubic hair is fine.

 

True that...there is no need to shave it..just trim it if it disturbs you too much..

 

Another relevant aspect of this matter to consider is how saving or even trimming your pubic hair will have on your reboot.

You have mentioned in previous posts that your penis is very sensitive, @LifeTransformation2016. You need to consider what might happen if you trim your pubes, involving stimulation to the genital area and probably some extra handling of your penis. It is possible (and this has happened to others before now), that it could induce an erection and masturbation.

If you shave your pubic hair, penis (base) and scrotum the possibility of getting aroused and wanting to masturbation is increased. Some people are able to do this and control themselves. But do you really want to throw away your current streak of abstinence? Is this notion of so-called "disgusting" pubic hair worth taking the risk of jeopardizing your progress?

 

Shaving is too much work for almost no real benefits and all the downsides.

Cons:

• It can cause rashes. They itch and annoy you. Plus you will be scratching and constantly touching down there cos of it, which can lead to relapse.
• You might cut yourself which hurts and potentially could lead to little infection that might annoy you for over a week until it heals.
• Shaving might lead to relapse cos you are messing with your genitals while shaving. And even after you are done you can still notice is cos it feels different, it can remind you of stuff you are not supposed to think/do.
• Majority of girls hate shaved pubes because you just look like a little, immature boy instead of a man, men are supposed to have some hair there. So for most girls it's a turn off.
• Just generally too much unnecessary work and effort.
• Pubes serve as a way how to distribute pheromones in to the air. And because you are destroying that system girls might become less interested/attracted to you.
• It increases the sensitivity down there which might lead to relapse.

Pros:

• You will live up to your artificially porn induced idea of beauty and sexiness, which is clean shaven.

Just trim it man. Best option, in my opinion. Just take hair clipper with a lowest setting guard on and done.

 

Agreed, i quite often manscape.... i don't shave completely, but i quite like having a well maintained lawn!

 

Nothing wrong with trimming them, i find it more comfortable....

I also find that it feels good to have hair down their. It sorta keeps my thing feeling comfy.

I prefer trimmed personally. Dont really care where this "fashion" came from honestly. I find it more comfortable and aesthetic and so do most girls I know. If you're not into manscaping thats fine too, but dont act like its bizarre or stupid to keep things neat down there

 

Quite right. Some people just like to judge whatever is different to their own ideals... At the end if the day, just do whatever you find comfortable...

 

Because your skin is more exposed to touch. Cos you shave off the protecting layer of hair. Kinda the same principle as if somebody would be touching your arm with the shirt on as opposed to no shirt on and just clear skin. Try it and you will see a clear difference. Or if you want try it with other body parts where you have about as much hair, like armpits for example.

Like I said in the post above, some girls find clean shaved to be childish and immature, which for many is a turn off cos they want a man not little hairless boy. Also, pheromones. Hair is a tool that helps pheromones spread through the air. No hair there, less pheromones spread. Less pheromones spread, potentially less attraction from opposite sex.

Anyhow, do what you want. All we are here to do is simply to express out opinions and advice on this. But in the end it's your body not ours. Experiment if you want to. See for yourself how you feel and how it impacts you. Waxing is the best way if you want it clean, less likely to give you skin irritation. Also the fastest and easiest way. Shaving is highly likely to give you razor burn and also has the danger of cutting yourself.

 

exactly, there is no fixed answer to this question... what one woman likes... another won't...


Just do what you find comfortable.

 

That's what i like... I just use my hair clippers. I don't use the shortest guard.... but one where it's at a suitable neat length...

 

....mind and oil your clippers, you really don't want it to pull your pubes out.
