    ESTP Career Choices
    Extravert(19%) Sensing(1%) Thinking(6%) Perceiving(22%)
ESTPs often find themselves in occupations that require prompt and active response. ESTPs succeed as salespeople, crime and fraud investigators, sailors, racing drivers, athletes, actors, entrepreneurs, rescue operation staff, and sometimes politicians and special combat forces. Many ESTPs are found among implementation and maintenance specialists.

...hmmm, not sure about this description.

When I am deeply connected I am an INFJ. When I am detached and somewhat connected I am an INFP. If I am fully detached where I become "cold" I am an INTJ. So when I am in INTJ mode is when I did the infamous INFJ Door Slam.

The idea of a test tell me how I really am is absurd and against my belief that I have to know myself and seek self knowledge. I did the test anyway, I have same personality of the OP.

Now another question pops up. Are we all just ONE specific MBTI type or can we be different types depending on the circumstances and what is going on at a specific period of time in our lives.

From looking at myself I say we can be different types but they all do not deviate too much from each other.

The thing you have to know about mbti are the cognitive functions. All types have four of the eight cognitive functions in their functional stack. This doesn't mean that we don't use them all. The other 4 are considered to be unconscious functions. The primary and secondary function define us the most as they are our most used introverted and extraverted function. But, and this is the important part, when we are stressed we tend to use functions lower in our functional stack. I'm an infp. So my dominant functions are introverted feeling and extraverted intuition. These are the functions I use most of the time. But under stress I often use Si or Te. There are actually explanations on when which functions is used by each type. So from time to time we can appear as another type but the questions is which type to we resemble most of the time?

the test from humanmetrics and 16personalities are not quite accurate since they're based on only 4 letters. the functions test would be more accurate. for example: keys2cognition

I'm an INFP too. But the problem with the test is as vulture175 pointed out that it is based on the 4 letters and not on the cognitive functions. So, many people get the wrong result the first time they take the test because the tests don't consider the cognitive functions which is what mbti actually is all about. I got INFJ the first time. But I'm definetely an INFP. Best you look up on the cognitive functions.

I've taken this test a few times before. If I remember it alternated between INFP and INTP. Or was one a J? I may take it again just for kicks.
