In what manner does the penis grow back, out of a flatline?

I wish we knew. Here are some speculations.

 

Yep very common. My own idea is that when you are low on energy, less blood flows there.

And if I fantasize, or look at any arousing in material, It gets bigger again. And I don't mean it just gets bigger while I am looking. It gets bigger all day long. Even though limp, it's a bigger limp. And my mood is better.

This is what makes flatlined so hard. You have to get worse before you get better

 

you should really find patience and peace of mind and accept that you have PIED, eventually things will get better, but you have to stay away from any form of artificial stimulation forever. it will be extremely hard but it is the only way. flatline was really really bad for me also, i had to go to a psychologist on a regular basis. good luck.

 

mostly it is the PIED, you should stop watching it, basically just do not look at it or think about it for a while, work out, eat healthy, things will slooowly get better. At the bebinning it got worse for me, so do not get scared, wait it out. "if you walk through hell, keep walking"

PIED is porn induced erectile dysfunction, that is the general condition of having erection issues. Flatline is the time period of very low libido, so the two are different, sexual desire is not the same as physical erections, you can get a boner (with medication for example) but still can feel no desire to have sex.
You really should just step away from the computer and rest for 90 days without any kind of stimulation, do not touch your penis except when you pee, do not think about sex, do not watch anything arousing, work out and eat healthy, and things will get better. i can see in your threads that you're freaking out, and that does not help. be patient, humble and just take a 90 days break from it all. good luck

My story is similar to others have been an over-the-road truck driver since 1981 I have had 9 back and three neck surgeries since 07 doctors had me on 360 mg of oxy's a day for 8 years.
I am not bragging by any means but my penis was almost 9 in Long since then it is down to less than half that erect.

I lost 1 to 1.5 inches sometime during a 16 month interval. But during that time I had 1) serious escalation of my porn video use and 2) new meds for ADD. So I'm not sure which caused it. I'm also 63, so that might have a part in it, too.

 

For me it stayed tiny the entire flatlining process. Even with a BJ from a girl kept it pretty small. I am getting occasional morning wood but libido is decreased (very much I would say). I am on day 19 of no PMO (would have been on day 36 had I not masturbated on day 17). My query is how long will it take to get my libido back and what are the things I have to avoid besides PMO and fantasizing about sex? Should I stop touching my penis (it gets erect when I stimulate it even without fantasizing)?
