  1. Look I don't know where this will take me. I've tried before two years ago and slipped. I've never actually done this properly. Let's try it out for once. Doing this shit properly. I am stronger than this shit, it's just videos and pictures. No PMO'ing until NEW YEAR starting now. Anyone that wants to join me, are free to do so. We are not alone. We can do this,

    Ground Rules:

    1. Masturbation... do not keep your hands to yourself. Unless you are bathing, changing your underwear or actually using the bathroom, your hands should be nowhere near your penis. YOU ARE BANNED FROM TOUCHING YOUR PENIS FOR RECREATION!!!
    2. Your bed is limited to only the time you are sleeping. No laying in bed other than that. As soon you awake, you should get out of bed. Can't sleep, if awake for more than a few minutes, get out of bed until you are sleepy enough to go to sleep.
    3. Keep doors open unless necessary. You need to be isolated as little as possible. You're less likely to M when people can see you.
    4. Keep curtains and blinds open as much as possible. Similar reason as above and also allows light inside. Many time M'ing is more likely in dark places.
    5. At night, keep lights on as often as possible. Similar to above, lights on may lessen your desire to fap.
    6. If you are a naked sleeper or a boxer sleeper, consider sleeping in a in jockstrap, cup or briefs or bikini briefs, something more constrictive so that you are less likely to feel movement while falling asleep or when awaking. They may provide a better barrier to prevent those that subconsciously reach for their penis at night or in the morning. They may also be a visual barrier for those that have morning erections too irresistible to not touch.
    7. Begin a journal so that others can encourage you and connect with you.
    8. Become active in this community. The more active you are, the less time you will spend focused on you. The less time focused solely on you, the faster time goes. There is an old saying, "a watched pot of water doesn't boil any faster", which means for this example, focusing solely on yourself and your issues won't make them go away sooner. It's OK to track progress but when spending more time doing other things that were once important to you and encouraging others, you will notice the time of your sobriety will go so much faster than if you didn't.

    I'm in. I did it for about 4 months about 2 years ago and it changed me but I slipped. I know it works and it produced great results for me. New year it is. Let's do it.

    You can click on it and it should take you to the site where you can create a counter yourself :) It's helpful motivation, especially in the beginning of your abstinence. (However, it's not about counting the days, but about making the days count! :))

I am new to all this forum posting so it may take me a few times to get the hang of it. You all have my support and of course many thanks in advance for yours.

    I'm 35.

    Btw I should clarify - the plan for me is to only have sex - but absolutely no P/M or recreational touching.

    I don't have an official gf but seing someone pretty regularly about once a week / 10 days. Last / first time I did this (last year) I had an accountability / sexual partner and she helped a lot - very understanding. I highly recommend that if possible. A smart girl will like the challenge too.

    It cured my ED and I was finally able to E during sex which was the main goal. Improved my mood, energy and frankly felt like girls could smell the confidence from afar.

    Let's do this again!

  12. Wow ED is real now that you tell me that you've had a problem with it. I didn't actually believe it but then again i am 22. Yeah i guess you're right about a girl having one. But honestly i believe in starting on your own and completing at least a month or two so that you're not dependent on someone else's pussy. Because when that's gone then you feel alone and at that moment everybody falls down in the same habit because that's all we know that can make us feel good in that time of discouragement. But starting on your own and completing i guess what i am trying to say is that you become independent and not DEPENDENT on anyone else to make you feel good because you're already good as you are without it.

    46 here and look and act much more immature most to much of the time. Mornings were, always a challenged time. Girlfriend left earlier, and I just streamed it to the big screen off iPad lick a sicko. Day one and struggling, always thought the release was healthy and important. So 4 times must be better. Yata, yata, yata. Would like to have a counter soon. Anyhow, good luck today.
     
  15. Alright 1st day done. Nothing to dangerous. At the moment it feels pretty good. I haven't had any urges that are far too strong. To be honest haven't thought about it much today. Hopefully everyday will be like this and we can move on easy together.

  18. How is everybody's progress? Tell me. I am on my 5th day now and the struggle/benefits are real. I can wake up in the night with a rock hard boner and then having to go back to sleep. I've been having wet dreams lately. The mind is really trying to pull me back. BUT NOT THIS TIME FUCK YOU!! I am sick of being a victim of this addiction.

    There was this one post where one guy put it so good. It's better to spend more time on NOFAP let's say 90 days and complete that and move on in the reboot process than to quit NOFAP and then come back. This is what i did, i came back 2 years later. Not beating this addiction, but now i am determined and i have this group and i have all of you guys with me on this journey. I want us all to win and we all have our own journey but together we are stronger.

    The benefits have been that i am much more aware of things it's like i am more awake and see everything. More present in the moment. I read more, i replace PMO with reading, exercises, music production. Soon more work. I mean life is moving forward and i feel like i have a lot of more energy all the time. I think it's because of the testeorone. Now i am just gonna ride it out and try to think of the benefits and enjoy them as much as i can before i start flatlining.

    Another thing just at the top of my head i wanted to put out there? Should we be meeting girls or try to have sex with them or be celibate for this time? I feel like having sex with a girl is healthy but in such a fragile state dangerous. I am scared that i can back to my old habits if i do this because i would dependant of her vagina.
